“Just…wow. This is probably the best barbecue I’ve ever eaten. I came here because of the reviews and was not disappointed! From the friendly face at the counter to the speedy service and the delicious barbecue, there’s just no downside here. I ordered the brisket, sausage, green beans, and mac-n-cheese and you can see from the photos that it was a MOUND of food! But, I’m no quitter so I soldiered on until my plate was clean. Afterward, I inspected the cakes on the counter—they are all homemade and all looked incredible—but cooler heads prevailed and I declined to try them. Just another reason to come back! Which I will, soon. This place is a treasure!“

“Service was quick and more than satisfactory. They have the best bbq and bbq sauce in all of Texas. And got to sit outside with my meal the atmosphere was calming. It was a bit pricey so I think they could come down just a little but it definitely didn’t disappoint!Parking: There were plenty of spot close to all 3 entrances! They had parking for the restaurant part and for the gas station part.Kid-friendliness: The kids that were there seemed to be enjoying the food themselves.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes 2 ramps for wheelchairs this place is also a gas station.“

“Been there twice in past two weeks. Great food, great service. The prime rib is always great. Never have to ask to take food back because it is cold. We do have on suggestion, turn down the music. The music is so loud so everyone talks decibels higher, thus the noise is overwhelming and very detracting.“

“We visited here last week and searched for the best hole in the wall location we could find. Chute 4 is what came up. And we are super satisfied with our decision! The Brisket was fantastic! The service was great. Our Kids ate free. The owner was friendly and talked bbq with us and about his time in service in the US Army. We look forward to our return to Waco one day to visit this restaurant!Kid-friendliness: Outstanding place to bring your children as they eat free! Each child had plenty to eat.“

“We just got done eating here for the first time when passing through Waco. Out of the hundreds of BBQ places I have ate at in Texas over the years, this is definitely in my top 10 for food taste and service. The place was clean and food was delicious. We had brisket (sliced and chopped)... turkey... ham... sausage... and tasty sides of baked beans. Next time I will try the ribs which I overheard others mentioning were good. I would recommend this place to anyone and will be coming back again myself.“

“The only reason I gave such a low review of the service is because the place was packed and there was only one bartender. We had to bus our own table and go to the bar to get our drinks. If they just had a couple of wait staff on the floor for big events this place would be a 10/10. The people are so very nice and polite, and the atmosphere is electric.“
