“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Stephanie’s Cheesecakes: A Slice of Heaven in Los Fresnos, TX" I had heard the legends. I had seen the drool-worthy pictures. But I had to know—was Stephanie’s Cheesecakes in Los Fresnos really that good, or was the internet just playing with my emotions? So, I grabbed some friends (because if I was going down this cheesecake rabbit hole, I wasn’t going alone), and we each picked a flavor to test the hype. We tried the mixed berry cheesecake (fruity perfection), the apple pie cheesecake (basically autumn in a slice), the strawberry cheesecake (classic, yet somehow even better), the turtle pecan cheesecake (so rich I briefly considered financial planning), the lemon cheesecake (a zesty dream), and the original (so good it didn’t even need toppings to shine). Every single one was just the right amount of sweet—decadent but not overpowering, creamy but not too heavy. Basically, the perfect balance between indulgence and making you feel like you can totally justify another bite… or three. Final verdict? Stephanie isn’t just making cheesecakes—she’s out here ruining all other desserts for me. “We ate there the other night. And this McDonald's has restored my faith in McDonald's. The food was actually really good. I had a bacon cheeseburger and fries and my food was fresh and my burger was put together like a real cheeseburger. Every time I have eaten at the Los Fresno's location the food and service were great.“

“7 Brew is my favorite coffee! Since it open here in Brownsville I became a daily costumer! Its a bit far from me but I still go. Right now my favorite drink is the Brewchata. I do add 1 expresso shot and tastes it so good! The blondie is super good, when I ask for anything new to try the employees are always kind to recommend and they always ask what we like (salty, sweet, sugar free) before recommending us. Dalia is super nice and always energetic. Love that she always tells the costumer about events or promotions going on. Another thing, the line may be long, but goes super fast, plus you get points for free drinks. Another reason to love 7 Brew!“

“A hidden gem in Brownsville!! Great, delicious food. I was too hungry, and forgot to take a picture of my food, but I got the Almuerzo favorito, and it was fulfilling. The agua frescas are all natural. Tortillas de harina are made from scratch. I did not get my servers name, but she was great!! Always made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely go again.“

“Alicia and Victor were very kind and welcoming. Great atmosphere to be in. Very supportive of first responders and veterans. Involved with people of special needs. Stop by and try out their delicious iced coffees. As a veteran they provided me with a custom journal to write my experiences in while at the island. Thank you Victor and Alicia!“

“Starting off with the positives. My coffee was good, I like that they have several sugar free options. My everything bagel was good as well. My order was correct and it was out in a timely manner.

I’m not a regular, and I don’t know what is in every drink. I asked about decaf options and the person taking the order mentioned they could do anything with espresso. I must have said something wrong because there was this sigh I heard and then a “that isn’t made with espresso I can get you this, or this. I kind of wished she had led with that. Then I ask, what sugar free flavors do you have? She said anything with an asterisk on it. Oh ok, Hazelnut, got it. I mean the person taking my order wasn’t rude. She answered my questions, she just wasn’t very helpful. In her defense, the sugar free options were in the screen. I guess what I’m trying to say is, as a customer that doesn’t visit regularly, its a little harder to find what you are looking for. Add to that, the fact that you are in the drive through and don’t want to make other’s wait time longer.
I mean the coffee was good, I just feel like the service is where in my opinion, they fell a little short. I didn’t complain at the window, and I feel like I try to be as nice as I can because I worked in service many years ago. Bottom line. Will I return? I don’t know.
