I ordered 2 Michelada before we ate and could not believe they were $8.99 . I understand things are going up but wow , if I had 4 or 5 of those, I feel like 40 or 50 bucks is a little excessive price, it’s just one beer and a little Clamato. Maybe 4 or 5 bucks would even good price for those , but that’s what I think .“

“MY NEW REGULAR!!!! I had a basic chorizo and egg and it was really good BUT!!!!...the Migas Rancheras burritto blew me away. Had a lady up front where her only job is to make tortillas and she nails it. I can't wait to try some of the other items. The place was packed and thats when you know you should try it. “My family has eaten at the Lubbock location many times. The food has always been delicious and the service excellent. Last night our server was Landon and I cannot even properly express how fantastic the service was. My whole family was impressed. We thought he was a waiter trained at a large city five star restaurant. We were incorrect. He became a server at a Country Club in Lubbock, left there and started at Abuelo's. The food was excellent as always and Landon is a superstar waiter!“

“This establishment is clean! Our waitress (young girl-San?) was very attentive and working hard. She took care of her customers while cleaning in between. Wiping down the table to the special menus and all the condiments while wearing a smile and being super friendly. More establishments need workers like her.“

“I recently dined at Mi Taco Village and had the Chile Rellenos. While the dish was okay, the thick batter just wasn’t my personal preference. However, the service was absolutely outstanding! The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the experience enjoyable. “The closest thing to home (Mexico) I have found here. Had the tacos (tripa, asada, al pastor) and they were all so good!! Each has its unique flavor. My husband had the burrito, they let him try the al pastor and he immediately changed his order from asada to al pastor.
The salsas, green and spicy were so good too!

Flavorful, not too oily, filling, packed with meat, worth it! 100% do recommend.“

I ordered the Nate’s Special and my guest had another dish I can’t even remember the name of because all I can think about is how insanely good everything tasted.
