“Food is always very good , service is amazing. The only thing that might keep me from going back is the bar drinks have gotten way too high in price . I ordered 2 Michelada before we ate and could not believe they were $8.99 . I understand things are going up but wow , if I had 4 or 5 of those, I feel like 40 or 50 bucks is a little excessive price, it’s just one beer and a little Clamato. Maybe 4 or 5 bucks would even good price for those , but that’s what I think .“

“Some of the very best Mexican food I've had anywhere. I'm upset I've been missing out on this place for years but I will definitely be back often. My wife and my son said exactly the same. The people working were really nice and helpful as well. This is one of the few places in Lubbock that has elote at all and it tastes fantastic. They also have a goot number of frescas (I think 7), most I've not seen anywhere else.“

Last night our server was Landon and I cannot even properly express how fantastic the service was. My whole family was impressed. We thought he was a waiter trained at a large city five star restaurant. We were incorrect. He became a server at a Country Club in Lubbock, left there and started at Abuelo's. The food was excellent as always and Landon is a superstar waiter!“

“MY NEW REGULAR!!!! I had a basic chorizo and egg and it was really good BUT!!!!...the Migas Rancheras burritto blew me away. Had a lady up front where her only job is to make tortillas and she nails it. I can't wait to try some of the other items. The place was packed and thats when you know you should try it. They maybe should of had the a/c on but, that's my only gripe. Great job!!!“

“The closest thing to home (Mexico) I have found here. Had the tacos (tripa, asada, al pastor) and they were all so good!! Each has its unique flavor. My husband had the burrito, they let him try the al pastor and he immediately changed his order from asada to al pastor.
The salsas, green and spicy were so good too!

Flavorful, not too oily, filling, packed with meat, worth it! 100% do recommend.“

“I recently dined at Mi Taco Village and had the Chile Rellenos. While the dish was okay, the thick batter just wasn’t my personal preference. However, the service was absolutely outstanding! The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the experience enjoyable. I’ll definitely be going back to try something else on the menu—with such great service, I’m looking forward to giving it another shot!“

“This was our first time to dine in. I usually go through the drive through for the shrimp cocktail. This time we decided to go inside.
The atmosphere was homey with music on the TV. Our waitress was very prompt in bringing our chips and salsa along with taking our drink orders. Breakfast is served all day so hubby got the chorizo and eggs. Cooke perfectly to his liking. I had the chili relleno, taco and enchilada. Quite tasty. The portions were more than ample, hot and very good. We will definitely be going back again.“

“Had thier 3 taco Asada plate with a piña aqua fresca and they did not disappoint 😋! I have been wanting to try this food truck for months, and finally got too. It was definitely worth it!!! I only wish I could've gotten a picture to share 😕 but it was so yummy looking I dived right into my plate!!! The aqua fresca is so yummy too, definitely tastes like Pineapple 🍍 😋!!! “We live out of town and have enjoyed dining at Picoso’s when we are in Lubbock. The staff is always super friendly and courteous, and we’ve been very impressed with the food.

Our daughter graduated from Texas Tech in December, and we reached out to Picoso’s about catering a party we did that afternoon. Everything was fantastic! The delivery was prompt, and our guests commented how tender the meat was and how flavorful the food was!

I even received a follow-up from Katy, who helped coordinate things for our event, which I thought was so kind. I highly recommend Picoso’s for dining and catering—wonderful food and service!“
