The owner, Paul, is incredibly kind and welcoming, truly the heart of the restaurant. He does it all: cook, server, host, and he does it all exceptionally well. You can feel the care he puts into every part of the experience.

The food is super authentic, always fresh, and bursting with flavor. We always order the Murg Mirch Masala (extra hot!) with naan. It’s absolutely delicious and leaves us craving more every time.

There can be a bit of a wait since everything is made fresh, so I recommend calling ahead. But trust me, it’s so worth it.

This place has become one of our all-time favorite spots, and I’ll always recommend it to anyone looking for amazing Indian food in Lubbock!“

The owner, Nun, runs a fantastic restaurant with the most polite and helpful employees in Lubbock. The food is all delicious and I encourage you to stop by and try the Chicken Fried Rice or their Noodles Dish with Shrimp. The eggrolls and dipping sauce are delicious. “I LOVE Torchys BUT this location is always packed and loud because of the college. My order was not sent to the kitchen by the kiosk ( I personally dislike kiosks especially when there's workers standing there staring at you doing nothing) 😑 therefore my order had to be retaken by a human and confirmation I paid...thank God for instant bank app confirmations lol. The tacos are the best tho my hubby always gets the trashy trailer, I've tried them and also the shrimp baja and salmon ( mr orange) always awesome!“

“Coming home from the DMV I decided to get a quick bite and chose Taco Villa. I got a #6, 2 crunchy beef tacos and a 32 oz root beer, my husband wanted 2 soft beef tacos. They gave me enough mild salsa so I could smother my tacos but they were SO good, a nice, thick slice of tomato and shredded cheddar, oh, yum! I order for delivery a lot and will add this store, can't wait to try a taco salad if they have it.“

“The menu has literally anything you could want!! I had the spicy penne in the vodka sauce with meatballs. The meatballs were amazing! Everything was actually amazing!! We even made friends with the manager over my shirt and the table next to us. The baby at the table next to was trying cheesecake for the first time!! It was so much fun! Yes this restaurant is family friendly but in all honesty it’s rated E for everyone!! The meatloaf is good too and the table next to me ordered the egg roll sampler thing n it looked amazing!!! I can’t remember my servers name but he was amazing too!! “One of THE BEST Taco Villa's I've been to in along time. The cashier was friendly and the mangers were nice. Everyone was really cheerful and seemed to enjoy being at work. That helped to make my dining experience so much better. The food was hot and delicious. The cashier helped with our substitutions on our orders, and our food was done and out quickly. “So I stopped coming to this store about 4 months ago because the service was horrible. I usually make a big order so I always go in to order so I can check everything before I leave. 4 months ago I did just that and was informed that I must have misplaced a couple of combo burritos that were ordered and not put in the bag.Well I decided to give them another chance last week and was very impressed with the changes made. Looks like all new staff or at least it was the day I went. Was greeted nicely and order was correct the first time. The manager even offered to help carry anything out if I needed it and held a conversation with my daughter whom was there with me. That made her day, so we will definitely be back to this location.“
