He’s the type that shows up early, stays late, and actually cares about the job, not just clocking in and out. And don’t even get me started on his work ethic. Alan doesn’t just go the extra mile, he builds the whole highway.

I’ve seen managers with less leadership in their whole body than Alan has in his pinky. Give this man a title, a headset, and some authority already. Trust me, the store would run smoother and morale would skyrocket.

If he’s not manager material, then I don’t know what is. End of story.“

“Chick fil has always been one of my favorite places to go. They always have such great chicken sandwiches. Their Waffle fries are the bomb. I understand that they are a Christian organization and that is great. But I really wish that they would open up on Sundays because I find myself with few options on Sunday because I just don't like to go to a lot of places.“

These select workers also know my order by heart. The food always comes out great, with no problems, and I’ve never had a mistake in my orders from here. They know what they are doing. However, the only thing they need to work on is professionalism with some of their staff. Yesterday, I saw none of the people that knew me, but the ones that were there were rude. They barely acknowledged me, and were cussing left and right loud enough for the dining room to hear. When asked for assistance in ordering, they kind of laughed amongst each other, finished their conversation, and then decided to come let us order. I’ve never had an issue with Raising Canes, being my favorite chicken restaurant, however, it was yesterday where I saw that the management needs to teach their staff professionalism at work. Either way, the food was out fast and it was great.“

“I just started coming to this Whataburger because it’s the closest and it is more convenient for me on my way to work. The people here are so nice! I’ve NEVER been to a Whataburger in my life that has such nice and kind people, spectacular food AND quick service! Overall this was a great experience, and the people/good food make it worth it to keep coming back. I will definitely be coming back to this location WAY more.“

“What can I say about this place?! WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!! I was visiting from Alexandria, Louisiana with a friend who grew up in Lufkin and she suggested this place and boy I am so glad she did! The place is very clean and the people are quite friendly. Our order was ready in minutes and the food. OH MY GOSH, THE FOOD!!!!!!!! I have no words. All I can say is IT WAS A BLESSING TO THE SOUL!!!!!!!!! Next time I am in Lufkin, this will be the go-to place.“

I order the bacon, egg and cheese with double bacon add tomato
And this morning I had a guest two cars in front of me pay for my breakfast
There was nobody behind me to pay it forward from there so I got to do something for a random person today or tomorrow
I want to thank that regular guest for Lufkin Whataburger for buying my breakfast
That was a great and unexpected surprise this morning

“Normally I don't rate chain restaurants 5 stars as a rule, unless I found some particularly good crawfish etouffee. But I'm trying to adhere to a vegan or very vegan-adjacent diet lately and it turns out that if you're in Lufkin Taco Bell is pretty much your only Vegetarian/Vegan-adjacent option. To that end, once you strip out the cheese, sour cream and meat it's actually pretty decent, dare I say, good, food. This location is convenient when shopping in the area there and is generally pretty clean. My service rating needs a grain of salt, I use the kiosk to order so good service has a pretty low bar.“

“Came through on opening day, May 30th. Same crew, same excellent customer service, and same quality food. Just a different location, with a fresh and clean building!
3 years later in 2025 of May, this location hits the spot. 5 stars.“

“Been driving past this place for 19 years and finally decided to stop and try it, I should have done this sooner, these burgers are damn good and so are the fries. Only thing that was missing was some sweet tea instead of Sodas.

Parking: Limited number of spots, and they are tight.“

I usually go through the drive through and the ladies that work the drive through are always polite and smiling. I eat my breakfast, lunch and supper here at times. Good food and service.
