“I’m a Mayan woman from Chiapas, MX and my tia makes tamales in banana leaves and they are my absolute favorite! I haven’t had them in soo long but we stumbled upon Tamale Addiction at the Buda Farmers Market. And I must say WOW!! And HIJOLE!!!!!!!! I’m so amazed and must say THE BEST TAMALE I’VE EVER HAD! (Aside from Tia Rosie) Well done Tamale Addiction!!!!! ???? I will be a forever customer!!“

“My wife finally finished her Masters thesis project on a Saturday night so I wanted to surprise & celebrate her big achievement the next day with sweets, however I couldn't find a place that was either open on Sunday or a place that did not require an order placed in advance. Suga's Cakery (Patricia) thankfully was open and after chatting with her via her website, I placed an order for 6 different cupcakes.No B.S., these were the most delicious cupcakes my wife and I had ever eaten & we come from NYC and have eaten at Magnolia Bakery when it was all the rage. Patricia's cake was moist, the icing just the right amount of sweet, and you can taste that these were handmade and made by someone who puts care into their baking.Besides the fantastic cupcakes, Patricia is the warmest and sweetest baker. After about 15 mins she text me that the order was ready. I went to pick them up & told her why I was buying the cupcakes, she took a cupcake into the back and wrapped the top in fondant with a "Congrats" written on top to celebrate my wife's accomplishment.What a wonderful, thoughtful gesture! You will not find that kind of above & beyond service at a supermarket or other big box store where you can purchase cakes & sweets. We like to support local small business and Suga's Cakery has two new life-long customers. A truly great place to indulge when that sweet tooth acts up. I promise that you will not be disappointed!“

“Deliciously fresh and tasty poke bowls and nice people prepping and serving the food.Not in a great location as it is right off 290 but inside is nice, clean and quaint.It was mine and my family’s first time there and we will be sure to be back!“

“Got Lamb Tibbs ~$18 and Ultimate veg combo ~$30Meat was very flavorful and not gamey at all. Best tasting out of everything. The injera was not as sour tasting compared to other places. Veg combo was alright. Some of the lentils were undercooked.Presentation was good. Was surprised they brought out the dishes individually and poured them on the injera.Big portions but also not that cheap. Came out to be $55 after tax and tip.Grateful that they decided to help my pack my leftovers but was kind of gross when it was all mixed up. Would have preferred the injera and dishes separated ?**Note: They charge 25 cents for togo box“

“Miss Omg Squee, I got sucked in by the soft serve but then fell in love with the mochi donuts.The mochi donuts are great because they are small and always some interesting flavor. My most frequently eaten are the lemon butter and the Vietnamese tea.The Ube flavor is also good for boba or other teas and on their ice cream.The lines can get long as it's a small shop and kitchen, but it's worth it.Usually pickup only sat down a few times.“

“Both staff members I spoke to were kind and helpful. It seemed they weren't on the same page as to whether or not samples were allowed. The older of the two offered samples unprompted when we asked her opinion on 2 tea flavors. Thankfully, they weren't busy, so she had time to talk to us and help me make a decision. I ended up buying a full pound of a wonderful plum oolong. The place seems clean and smells wonderful. I will visit again for more tea and perhaps a sit down with a good pot.“

“This is my favorite place to eat in and around Austin. The Pita Shack is my “go to” once or twice a week. The food is delicious and healthy. LOVE the kebab! The owners are extremely friendly. Very lovely place. I’m extremely happy I found this place.“

“My favorite Pop and mom shop the barbacoa and menudo is the only one I get out of any restaurant in Austin. The travel is worth it at all cost!! Every time I go the customer service is fantastic.. the atmosphere is is so comfy. I love all there food it is so so good, go try it and you won't be disappointed !!!“

“Came in for lunch on a Saturday and sure glad we did! Service was great and they are very accommodating for anyone with food allergies. We decided to go with the street food since it's only offered Thursday-Saturday Order chicken satay moo ping pad ka-prow I'd start the pad ka-prow, bench the moo ping, and cut the satay. The moo ping is close to being a starter for me as it was very delicious! Prices are fair and plenty of parking. Will be back for more street food!“

“Oh my gosh I am so happy I tried this place! I convinced my coworkers to join me here for lunch and we were all big fans. I forgot to take a picture of what I ordered but look at the fettuccine with steak!! So good and hugeee portion so the price is definitely fair. I actually got the 1/4 chicken with the steak fries and the mild and medium sauce. Literally perfect. My coworker got the same thing with Mac and cheese and the side and I can vouch that the Mac is good. The chicken is charcoal rotisserie style and sooo yummy and the fries were great. The sauces were so so good as well. Our food came out very fast and was super hot so the service was great and the restaurant itself is actually pretty cute! We all agreed that we would be returning soon :)“

“My daughter and I absolutely love this place, we come at least once a week, and sometimes more. It’s usually a great experience however, this evening was a different story. We got there 15 minutes before closing so I asked the girl behind the counter if it was ok that we still order something … she responded with an attitude, “iF iTs QuIcKkKk”… Eww.What scoop of ice cream isn’t quick? And aren’t you still open anyways? Like girl, I worked in the service industry for 10 years and we were never allowed to respond to anyone like that. I found it rude, disrespectful, and a huge turnoff. We will continue getting ice cream from here but, NEVER when she’s working.“

“Came in around 10pm on a Saturday.I have relatively high standards & a sensitive stomach when it comes to eating out, and Hurricane’s staff hit the ball right out of the park. Service was excellent, food was HOT, fresh, high-quality, and delicious. Highly recommend the garlic parm fries, any burger medium rare, steak & avocado tacos. Firecracker shrimp. Boss sauce.Frozen strawberry margs also phenomenal. New favorite without a doubt!“

“Super fast, friendly, delicious, and it is like they are choreographed when I come in. They know just where I prefer to sit, that I need a fork for my pho noodles, extra bean sprouts/cilantro/thai basil, ice water, a bag when I'm done. They notice if I am not there once a week, and take their time getting to know me. They make people feel special, and are always warm and welcoming.
