“I hail from Seattle, home to some great Pho and the weather dictates one eats it quite often so I've had my fair share. But this pho spot blows all of them away. The menu is simple but the flavors are complex, balances and absolutely delicious. The broth is salty, meaty, and umami. The meat is tender and the noodlea are fresh. This is a must try if you're looking for a bowl of noodle on the next cold day.“

“Just happen to drive by the place and noticed it was a Vietnamese restaurant and the parking lot was packed. Glad I stopped as the pho is really good! Ordered a large bowl and picked rare steak and brisket for my meats and the homemade fresh noodles. The pho bowl came out and I tasted the broth and it was really good and flavorful. I will come by the restaurant again as I want to try one of the bahn mi sandwiches that were on the menu.“

“I recently moved into the area a few months ago and found this place not to far from my house. They do trivia every Thursday and it has become our households biweekly activity. I absolutely enjoy the atmosphere and how delicious all of their food is. The view tex martini is my number one order and well worth the price. Order at the counter and find a seat in one of the handful of tables. Pick up the food from the counter.Dining atmosphere is completely absent. The place is very small and more suitable for takeouts than dining in. Environment is cluttered with boxes and restaurant supplies that don’t belong in a dining room.“

“This place is so bomb. Best Viet restaurant I have had in Austin. The Broken Rice Combo - Com Tam Suon Bi Cha (bottom) with Pork is DELICIOUS. I love all the variety on the plate and mixing them all into a perfect bite. The sides of pickled jalapenos, chili sauce, chili oil and pickled garlic are perfect additions to the meal as well. The Banh Mi Chao with Xiu Mai (top) was crazyyy. So good, and each item in the skillet is so delicious with the bread.“

“Super fast, friendly, delicious, and it is like they are choreographed when I come in. They know just where I prefer to sit, that I need a fork for my pho noodles, extra bean sprouts/cilantro/thai basil, ice water, a bag when I'm done. They notice if I am not there once a week, and take their time getting to know me. They make people feel special, and are always warm and welcoming. “Bep Saigon is one of the underrated Vietnamese restaurants in Austin. They just changed ownership recently. There are a ton of menu items, both Vietnamese and Chinese items too but the Vietnamese stuff is the star of the show. We ordered some of the classic Vietnamese dishes like braised catfish (ca kho to) and canh chua (soup). We also enjoyed banh bot chien and bo luc lac (shaken beef). Everything was delicious and I would order these items again. The parking lot is shared in the plaza so plenty of space. Noise level is pretty low. Service was quick and very friendly.“

“The staff was awesome and friendly. The Pho was really delicious. The wings were not as great, half of them had broken/sharp bones. The seating is SUPER uncomfortable which is likely done on purpose so folks won't overstay, but c'mon... would it kill them to put some cushions on those cold metal chairs? Even with their short-comings, we'll go back for more Pho in the future!“

“I have eaten here probably 20 times even though I live 4 hours from here. I make a special stop off of I37 and try to time Austin for when I will be hungry. I get the chicken Banh Mi usually although sometimes Grilled Beef. It is always excellent. The sandwich is the perfect size. If I ate like this every day I would lose a little weight, but only very slowly. Its a great lunch or dinner. A child of mine would eat it for breakfast. Given the prices of less than $7 it is also one of the more economical places. I have only had the Banh Mi.“
