“I went here because a friend of mine told me about this place. I ordered a double Bubba bacon cheeseburger to go, and when I got in the car I just looked at the burger to see what it actually looked like. The burger looked so good I ate 3/4 of it in the parking lot, the only reason I didn't finish it was because I ran out of water. The next day I brought my wife back with me to get a chicken fried steak, it was delicious as well. This place is amazing and the waitress reminds me of Daisy Duke with her friendly personality. I will definitely be back when I get a day off.“
“Service is definitely hit and miss here. Great beer good food but ok service. Got here as the festival was winding down. Brewery was not busy got a beer right away but then that’s it. My husband asked for another beer and almost 20 min later asked for the check because the beer never came. Bartender was busy talk g to another couple at the bar.“

“Stopped in today because we ate at Cajun Tex Marshall 6 years ago when our daughter was going to ETBU. All I remember was I really liked the Boudin Balls. The Boudin Ball’s are just as I remember, fantastic!! The Shrimp Po-boy is really good too. Not too many places make good hush puppies but they do them right. The stuffed shrimp had a great flavor and a nice crust.
3pm on a Monday and the place is empty. Place your order at the counter and seat yourself. The girls bathroom was somewhat clean but the floors are sticky and I was told the guys bathroom needs cleaned.“

“I live in Florida and found Soul Palace on the Internet with great reviews. Five of us went on April 11 and sat outside at the picnic tables. Absolutely love love loved the catfish and the burgers got rave reviews from the folks with me. I would highly recommend it as a great place to have a casual burger or that wonderful catfish at a great price!“

“Always a great place to stop and get lunch. Ate in with wife and daughter. Burgers, fries and onion rings are always the best. Very new building right off Hwy 80, super clean and a friendly staff. We'll drive from Shreveport just because the trip is beautiful and the restaurant is so nice!“

“Decent Burgers. If you hit them at the right time they’re great cheese burgers, but sometimes they’re dry. I don’t like the fact that in lieu of mayonnaise they use cheap salad dressing. The complimentary beans are delicious! The fries are also hit or miss. Sometimes they’re great. Sometimes they’re soggy or even undercooked. I give them credit for cleaning the coke freestyle machines like they should. Most places that have those machines neglect to clean them and they taste like every flavor. Not here. The staff is super friendly, and the finding area is cozy. They also have bluebell ice cream which is a plus. I also love the fact that they play Christian music on certain days. Not 5 stars because of the inconsistency in quality.“
