“I am addicted to iced coffee and Igo there 3-4 times a week..most of the time the girls/boys already know what I want..today I chose the iced Chai with boba and I treated myself to a lox salmon bagel..I loved the tea, but the bagel ?A whole other level ! So so so good..they put a good amount of salmon on it, so you really get good food for your money..I tried other coffee places, but this one is just the best !!“

“We had been visiting Midlothian and looking for a coffee shop and came upon moravian coffee. The coffee was good and gave us the wake-up we needed to get through the day. It did take some time to get our coffee as it was busy and appeared to only be one person working.“

Cinnamon Dolce Latte

“This morning I went to pick up my order at the Midlothian Starbucks off of 663, but I accidentally placed my order at a different location. I didn't notice until one barista looked at my receipt. I was about to leave to head to the other location, but he looked at my order and was so kind to go ahead and make my drink. This was around 7:45-8 am on 3/5/24. I didn't catch his name, but l wanted to leave this review to give him some recognition! Thank you so much!“

“Someone left their car in the parking lot with windows down. The employees one named Justin and another women with dark hair took it upon themselves to save them. A storm was coming from nowhere and they covered the windows with trash bags to prevent damage to the vehicle. I will shop here always.“

“The service here great The coffee is good I think this location is better than a lot of the other ones they don't mess up on your order hardly as much as some of the other ones and they're not out of stuff like oatmilk in certain drinks hardly ever like the other ones are like the Starbucks that's a few miles down the road is always out of oat milk they're always sold out of certain drinks but this location you never have that problem place is clean very quiet nice place to just sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee in do some studying or get some work doneDietary restrictions: For people who are lactose intolerant they have choices like coconut milk almond milk oat milk and if you don't like coffee they have regular iced tea they also do have just plain black hot coffee as well as decaf and they have fruit flavored drinks that actually has real fruit pieces in it“

The Lighthouse Church Coffee & Tea • $
1400 N 9th St, Midlothian

“Lighthouse Coffee Bar has been here a long time. It's an outreach non-profit of the church next door. We only stumbled on it this year when out tooling around. A venue for indoor and outdoor stage music, the Coffee Bar also promotes art and has an interesting gallery.Beyond Coffee and many other assorted beverages (see Drinks menu photo), the Lighthouse offers food. They have breakfast, hot and cold sandwiches, soup and salads and nibbles. That's all in addition to the bakery goods and assorted changing desserts. The Lighthouse is fairly comfy with several chair and sofa groupings, a quiet room with couches and closing sliding glass doors, and an upstairs with one large table and several small ones. There are numerous small tables in the area of the small indoor stage. Outdoors there's a portico and varied seating for a large stage. I did notice that the day we were there, the regulars, nearly all students, squared off into all the comfy territories and spread out leaving only the tiny tables in the main room. Can't say I blame them and it wasn't a big deal. As luck would have it, we got the table upstairs, when our order was ready.I was on a low carb diet and ordered a bread less sandwich - the Chicken Bacon Melt with some added spinach. I appreciated that you could choose veggies as a side instead of chips. My husband ordered the Texas Sausage Melt Panini. Out of the Baked items, we chose two luscious looking giant raspberry fingerprint cookies made with almond flour.Everything was really tasty as it turned out. The cookies were excellent. I narrowly escaped sharing one of the largest most delicious looking cinnamon buns, I believe I had ever seen, with my husband. Another day, maybe. My spouse had regular brewed coffee and I had Chai. The Lighthouse is a pretty mellow place and modestly priced. We liked it and we'll be back.“

Snickerdoodle

“First time trying out White Rhino Coffee. The one thing that I did not feel too great on was the two breakfast egg chorizo tacos with some green sauce. Food quality was there, it was freshly hot made and they were great, but I was expecting bigger portion sizes for the price I was paying. The flour tortilla size is small and a palm sized of egg chorizo and cheese just isn't enough for me to justify paying $7+ for two tacos.I did try out an Iced Snickerdoodle 16oz. It was really good! The staff were nice and provided great service. If you don't mind the price by a couple of dollars on coffee, it can be worth stopping by.For now, the overall score will be 4/5, I'll revisit sometime in the future, looking forward to try out other items in the menu.“

Starbucks Cafe • $

“(I believe this employee's name was Grace) So Dear Grace, If someone asks you a simple question about coffee I don't think raising your tone is a part of your job description. I have never had a Starbucks employee be so rude. I've personally worked in customer service for the last 5 years and know that it can get difficult and people have bad days. I came into this Starbucks in a great mood, ready to try something new. They were out of cold brew, no big deal I get it, but when I asked a simple question I was met with nothing but attitude and a demeaning tone. I didn't catch the guys name that was making my drinks, but he was kind and made them great. He's why I've rated this 5 stars, because I don't believe that you should get a bad rating off of one bad apple.“
