When i went in i did notice an odd smell but other than that everything went amazing. I got the huli huli chicken plate and asked for an extra order of the greens on the side. “I visited both locations of Jitterz while in Mission and both of my coffees (Verano Latte Iced) were amazing and consistent at both locations—but more importantly at the N Bryan location there was a true light in the world named Trina who made my coffee.

She was genuine, conversational, and you could feel the Lord’s spirit in her presence. These are rare experiences in this world. She was the last person I’ll interact with in Mission before heading back to Kansas City and next time I am here, I’ll be back just to see Trina. I have goosebumps writing this. It’s the PEOPLE that make companies (big or small) incredible, and she made my experience incredible. (& the coffee was fireeeee)

We hosted a very last-minute birthday party here the day after Christmas, and I was grateful that they were open and able to accommodate us.

Originally, I planned to book during lunchtime, but I do not recommend booking a party during the lunch buffet hours. The buffet gets extremely full, and some guests who are only there for the buffet can be rude to party hosts—especially when you’re getting refills and managing a group.

That said, the manager was outstanding. He personally came over to welcome us, told us to let him know if anything wasn’t right, and was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. That made a huge difference.

Our party host was average—she checked in to ask what we needed, took our orders, and helped place pizzas around the table, which we appreciated. Overall, the food and party setup were great, and the kids had a wonderful time.

My biggest concern, however, was beer service. Buffet guests ordered beer pitchers and left them unattended around our party tables. Unsure if my children had sips of alcohol. I immediately handed the pitcher to a staff member who was cleaning tables and explained the situation. He mentioned that guests often leave beer behind.

If beer is going to be served, staff should actively pick up unattended beer pitchers, especially in a family- and kid-focused environment. Thankfully, I caught it before anything serious happened, but this is something that really needs attention.

Overall, a good experience thanks to the manager and party setup, but the beer safety issue is something that should be addressed”

Every now and then they might mix up an order, usually something small like the taco type, but it’s rare and nothing major. About 9 out of 10 visits, everything is spot on. The food is consistently good, the portions are solid, and the value is unbeatable.
The service is another big plus. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Even when they’re busy, they keep things moving. They have a drive-thru for quick service that moves surprisingly fast on busy days, plus a dine-in line if you want to eat there.

“Went in today and had their lunch buffet, took a little if everything to check out the flavors and everything was above expectations, small buffet but what they had was delicious. Flour tortillas are the best I have had at a restaurant.

“First time ordering food at this place, and oh WOW, it is delicious! New favorite place for healthy food. We ordered at the Conway location. Our order consisted of the Island salad, Caesar salad and the criolle Ciabatta with chicken. Loved the size of my salad. Everything was so tasty.Definitely going back.”

“Service at this Stars have been amazing recently, area is always well kept and the workers are always so attentive.
They have a lot of options for you to choose from which makes it a highly customizable experience. You can eat in your car or go to the small dining tables in the center.
All in all, a good experience for when you're craving some fast food.”

“OG is the usual great food and atmosphere. Only negative here is the waitress failed to deliver water to the table. A waiter has to take an order and deliver the food AND make sure guests have something to drink as they eat. She failed at this. When she delivered the food my water was empty. She never returned until the end of the meal...sad service.”

“We had tacos, pozole and a tamale. The pozole was delicious, very tasty and big. The tamal was big and very flavorful. The tacos were good. The frijoles especiales are with chicharrones mixed in. Most of the items on the menu are sold individually, as in 1 taco not an order, and a bit on the pricey side. The aguas frescas a very good too. Will have to try the vampiros next time we visit.”

“I really like the food has great taste, everything is soft and not overcooked. The only thing I would change is a bigger cup for the drink, so I wouldn’t get up so many times to refill. I have been enjoying the $5.99 price on almost all dishes in this month of August. I love the drink choices we have either fountain drinks or aguas frescas of five flavor choices or different tea flavors.”

“Always love Stars... decided to get something small. Went with the kids meal of chicken strips and added an extra strip. Didn't get any dipping sauce in my order. Pressed the button and asked for two sauce and they wanted to charge me for an extra sauce. I mentioned that I paid 2 dollars for an extra strip (small one at that) they then brought me two ranch dipping sauce.”

“Great customer service!!! From greeting us with a smile to leaving the restaurant, It was our first time and Alma was great explaining the menu !! My wife got the panchos and omg the moistest brisket ever. I got the moist brisket sandwich with fries i must say those home made fries are the best. Overall excellent food but if you pair that to the awesome customer service its a 10 👌. Will most definitely come back soon.”
