“Orient cafe is usually consistent, good egg rolls, the best wonton soup, and most of the menu is really good. My favorites are chicken with string beans, chicken or shrimp fried rice, and orange chicken.
Although today we had, and I tried the orange beef, orange chicken (don’t mind the quantity, starting eating before I could take the pic😅) and wonton soup.“

“We stopped there for lunch today. My husband had spicy fried catfish and I had stir fried rice and broccoli beef. It was excellent! My husband had never had catfished cooked that way. Medium spicy so not too spicy. Jay was very nice and service was great. Price also good. We will definitely go back there.“

“We were looking for a Korean restaurant and found this on Google maps with very high reviews and this restaurant did not disappoint at all was very happy with the amount of condiments that were provided inside dishes It was freshness to all of the dishes and also the kimchi vegetables were very well done. The Korean fried chicken was delicious and the house sauce and the hot and spicy sauce were also very delicious. The other corn cheese was good would have liked to have a bit more but it was good and the spring rolls were also good.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at the best Chinese rice noodle house in Chinatown Houston and it was an exceptional experience. This noodle house offers an array of mouthwatering appetizers that set the stage for an unforgettable meal. The star of the show was undoubtedly the Chinese rice noodles. They were perfectly cooked, with a delightful chewy texture that left me craving more. The wide variety of noodle options allowed for a customized dining experience, catering to all tastes. We tried their signature items like the chicken soup rice noodle and the Mala rice noodle soup. The appetizers were a highlight, with an extensive selection that included sticky rice cake, marinated pig feet, and cucumber salad. The sticky rice cake was a delightful blend of sweet and savory, with a satisfyingly chewy consistency. The marinated pig feet were tender and flavorful, a true delicacy. The cucumber salad provided a refreshing contrast to the rich flavors of the other dishes, with a delightful balance of tanginess and crunch. The service at JiBeiChuan noodle house was impeccable, and the staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. Overall, this brand new Chinese rice noodle house is a must-visit for anyone looking to savor authentic and delicious Chinese cuisine. The combination of delectable rice noodles and a tantalizing selection of appetizers ensures an unforgettable culinary journey. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. And since it’s a authentic Chinese franchising noodle house, I don’t have to fly back to China to enjoy it. Highly recommended and will definitely come back.“

“I had the Shoyu truffle ramen and it was probably the best ramen I've ever had in the US. I was born and raised in Japan, and this reminded me of being back home. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing as well. I am definitely going to be back again soon.“

“I came to YukDaeJang one evening near closing time. The employees didn't look like they want to serve me. There were a couple of tables of customers there. But they probably had a long day. I don't blame them. Food was ok. The waitstaff took wrong order. But it's ok.“

“Came in around 12:30pm after a haircut. It was only me and another guest. Ordered the small chao long, which was a pretty decent portion, along with a side of fried doughnut. Food was delicious, and definitely fixed my craving. Not sure if it’s normally dead in there, but hoping that they get more guests. The young girl who took my order and the aunties working the shop were all so nice.“

“My go to location is on West Gray, where the ladies can almost create my salad without me saying a word. This is a great place for vegetarians and vegans although they quite a number of protein options. Salata in general and this location in particular is one where you can't go wrong.“

“I absolutely love this location!! The staff members are so friendly and make the most delicious salads!
Coral the manager is so sweet and pleasant and she makes your salad as if she’s making her own! And she gives great suggestions. Abril is really sweet also and she has such a pretty smile. I’ve been to other salatas and they do not taste as good as this one and overall their technique isn’t as good as briarforest location. I could literally eat here everyday“

“I've eaten a lot of places around Houston, and unpretentiously I can say, this place is stellar. The salad and breadsticks (AYCE) is good. We ordered chicken and gnocchi soup (also AYCE), it was good. We had the shrimp and chicken carbonara (with red bell peppers). It was better than good. Even our server, Jose, was very accommodating and polite. He gave us refills soda glass before i even ask. No lie, people usually scoff at Olive Garden, but this place rocks.“

“First of all, Great service! I found this place via TikTok.
Food was hit or miss depending on what you get. A lot of it was a little too salty though.
We bought beef lo mein (they used spaghetti noodles), sweet and sour fish, pea shoots, green beans, lamb and scallions, fried rice (it had shrimp which we didn’t want to order), pot stickers, egg noodle soup, sweet and sour chicken, and crispy duck.
Out of everything, we enjoyed most the pea shoots, pot stickers, and green beans.
The rest that we ordered wasn’t terrible food but it wasn’t something I would go out of my way to return for.“

“I drive 20 minutes to eat Thai Lily. It is hands down my favorite thai place of all times. The owner is so nice, and the food never disappoints. When you pop in for a meal make sure you grab some of his beef jerkey! It will not disappoint.“

“First timer in town for the day and I LOVED the name of the place. Went inside on Labor Day and found a few people eating pho that looked good & plentiful. However, I wanted the beef banh mi so that's what I ordered. The order took a bit longer than expected and the sandwich was smaller than other sandwiches I have had -- which is why I give them 4 stars. However, everything was very tasty and fresh. Had the Thai tea without Boba and that was good too. $15 is kind of high for one sandwich and a tea, but I enjoyed my meal and the customer service. The restaurant has a big dining area that they keep very clean and gets a lot of natural light. If I ever get back, I'll try the pho.“

“The overall food quality and taste is on par , very well executed without too much flavor ,it has become one of my favorite Chinatown spots BUT only wish they would have a GOOD SPICY SAUCE (灵魂辣椒酱) that brings out the best of their food…….. hope the owners pay attention and give us a surprise !!!“

“This place was truly amazing! And our visit here was in total alignment. We previously stopped at an restaurant that didn't meet our dietary restrictions and Dough Zone was literally two minutes away. As soon as I walked in I fell in love. The atmosphere oozes peace, balance and love. The staff is so warm, attentive and kind hearted.
I was led to utilize the QR code feature to look upon the menu with my restrictions to my diet. And I found, rather quickly, exactly what I would order. I packed the chicken and veggie wonton/dumpling soup and it was AMAZING. So full of flavor, the ingredients were fresh and light and I didn't leave with any digestive issues. The price was 🤌🏾 and I left knowing I would be back ASAP. Thank you an amazing experience ✨💗“

“This place is now under new management. I never tried the old one, so I can’t compare, but the current spot feels like a true hidden gem, underrated and deserving of more attention. The vegetarian dry noodles are amazing, and the roasted duck noodle soup and chicken rice plate are also excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant!“

“I ordered the soup as an appetizer but the server brought it out with the salad. I did ask if she could take it back and bring it when my friend’s lasagna was served and she did. But our salad was drenched in salad dressing, it was almost disgusting. I asked if she could bring us a salad without all the dressing and she did replace it with a salad without dressing on the side. I would not return to this location due to the slow service and it place was practically empty.“

“I decided to try Olive Garden for the first time, and I was sooo impressed! I got the steak with the fettuccine alfredo and my grandparents got the tour of Italy. We also got the salad, gnocchi soup, and the breadsticks. I heard the breadsticks were amazing and I ate like 10 of them, it’s sooo good! The soup and the entrees were amazing, left very very full. The calamari I also got and it was heaven! Service was good, he came by every 5 mins to make sure we were good and atmosphere was amazing! Will be back!!!“

“The pho here is easily some of the best in Houston. The standout feature is the stone bowl concept — it keeps the broth hot throughout the meal and adds a unique, comforting touch. At around $15 a bowl, the portion is generous and satisfying. The meat is tender, the veggies are crisp and fresh, and the broth is flavorful without being too heavy.
Service is fine — not exceptional, but this isn’t the kind of place where you come for top-tier hospitality. The atmosphere is fairly basic, nothing fancy or cozy, but it gets the job done.
Bottom line: Come here for the pho. It’s worth it. Just don’t expect a high-end dining experience — this spot is all about the bowl.“

“Have been here for several times! Food is legit and authentic! Service is good too! The Jokbal and Bossam are “must-order”s. Kukbam and haejuntang are also yummy. Big portion with decent price - I can’t see any complaints about this place.
I saw that most bad reviews were about the “slow service “ during the soft opening, which I also have experienced the 1st time I stepped into this restaurant. BUT now they are extremely professional and friendly! Way to go JangChoongDong!“

“Delicious, authentic Filipino food, great selection and variety, fair prices for such huge portions and awesome customer service. The place is very clean and welcoming! Excellent and highly recommended!
Dietary restrictions: All the items we ordered were Well-seasoned and had just enough saltiness to bring out the flavors. Very willing to make adjustments with saltiness & spiciness upon request.
Parking: Plenty of parking spaces right in front of the restaurant.“
