“yesterday I came with my family to eat here. we just moved across the street. the whole lake highland area has a lot of great spots, but I do believe that Fish City Grill will be our favorite, the drinks were so great. some of the best drinks I’ve had in a very long time. The food was fresh and hot and the atmosphere was amazing, I think there was a kids event going on because it was lots of children everywhere but we had fun seeing them have fun. But one person TOPPED EVERYTHING, our waiter Nievells, his entire personality was everything, I wish I could’ve put him in my purse and took him home. we have adopted him as our new son. He was fast, kind, super funny, and just made us not want to leave, we came in around 5 and didn’t leave until 7:30 because he just was so loving. He took Better care of me than my own husband. (I hope he never sees this review ?) but he said he was new and but it seem like he’s been working there for years. Ive been having a tough time moving here this week from ohio and I needed this experience, thank you so much Nievells for everything my family and I will be back to see you! I hope he sees this to know he is doing a great job.“

“I love the fact that they don’t cheat you on your order! The portions are nice and reasonable. Food is very well seasoned! If you liked the one in oak cliff but you don’t want to make that drive then the Rowlett location is the place to go! I’m a repeat customer!“

“Such an amazing place for a night out. It gets crowded but their service is amazing considering we got our food in 10 minutes. I got fried catfish and OH MY GOODNESS. Delicious with a side of fries and hush puppies. The atmosphere was so energetic as we heard live music from a Latin band. Highly recommend it!!“

“This is probably my favorite seafood restaurant. There's another great one I go to, but this specific restaurant and location is the most consistent at making the fish really well.
Whether it's grilled, fried, ceviche style, or made in a stew, everything they serve is cooked perfectly, right. I haven't had anything that I didn't like and they do a fantastic job.
They also great cocktails if you're there for that time of day, or based on what I've seen for some follks if you're there for lunch. 😂
Some of my favorite dishes.
- the daily specials during the week are delicious! And shockingly affordable
- the ceviche appetizer is a go-to for me and big enough for a meal
- I love their Caldo de Mariscos because it's the only one I've come across so far that's kind of a Cajun style with a red broth
You really cannot go wrong at this place. Five stars doesn't feel like enough.“

“One of the best seafood restaurants in the country. Whenever I am in town I always stop by this restaurant. And we usually order fried calamari and crab spinach dip for starters. Now main dish of choice depends of what we’re craving. Their lobster bisque remind me of home. They have huge portions (everything bigger in TEXAS) and great variety of seafood meals to pig out on. A+ restaurant“

“First time ever trying this place and just like the name of my order....it was definitely a Royal Experience!!! in every bite..the kids couldn't deny the flavors either. We also tried the Honey Garlic and Buffalo wings...em em em perfection and I will definitely be back...ohhh and almost forgot...the daiquiri...smh I'm in love...lol“

“Allergy friendly and went above and beyond! Mihon (server) was amazing courteous friendly and knowledgeable. She made sure I was taken care of and had a supervisor even came over to support her. Most items are fried with milk or cheese and was able to grill all my appetizers and the grill main was extremely tasty.“

“First time coming here and was hungry I got here and it was pretty quiet I was served quickly by the asain couple who were working there. I got a fish filet and some shrimp overall its pretty good the portions are great overall would come here again 👍“

“The best che in town! I always love supporting this local business. The owners working there are always so sweet and you can tell they care about their cooking. I wish they get more attention. No one makes better che. It is in the Hong Kong food court so it is easy to miss.“
