“Came here on a dime! Was in the area didn’t want the loud bar type place for a bite. My bf and I walked in with a warm welcome. We ordered and sat down the charming place was nice and quiet. I love the ice cream parlor vibe with vintage setting with the diner seats and stadium seats. Had my heart with the little table and chairs for the littles. We were pleasantly surprised! The FOOD yum!! we definitely agreed we would be back and added to the list.“

“Ordered the Chicken Parmesan, Chicken tortellini, and Kids Ravioli. All the food was cooked well, asked for the kids food to arrive early and waiter was wonderfully willing. Our dinner arrived a little quicker than expected as the salad had just arrived and the dinner was not but shortly after. Waiter was very attentive.“

“WOW! First the customer service, off the charts. Explained the options, ways to save a little $, explained what they are doing differently.... The pride of ROOST pours out of Joe Then the food. I ordered the classic breakfast. Spot on and the potatoes stoled the show! Joe came over and gave me margarine for my toast and apologized because they typically have "real" butter. Delivery mix up. “Update 2023: Unfortunately the Elks isn't what it used to be...... The last few times we've eaten there have been a disappointment, it's been warm inside and they managed to run off good leadership and stewards of the community!!

They always welcome new guests, serve great food, have the best wood dance floor in New Braunfels, and there quite a few special people that volunteer and work there. Dances are always open to the public, so join us sometime!!“

“Their food is consistent so if you like Las palapas, this one is no different than the others. The only issue I run into is whether they're busy or dead. It takes a long time to get the attention of somebody to seat me. I usually come in alone so I don't know if they kind of glance at me and assume I'm there to pick up doordash or something like that. But I just want to sit down and eat while I'm on my lunch break. It happened on basically every occasion that I've went there, by the time I'm seated by the time my food comes I have about 5 minutes to eat and run and that's that I get an hour break. I'm a very shy and non-confrontational person so it's really hard to navigate these kind of issues. It's the job of the restaurant to take initiative and greet people and ask them what they want.“

“So i came into Mcallisters new Braunfels for lunch and when i tell you the service was Amazing. it was AMAZING!! i didn’t catch her name but the lady (blonde ) was so sweet and patient taking our order. and not even five minutes after ordering we got our meal. the food is always immaculate and the best way to end the meal is with a cookie. so i go up to order one and she is super sweet and covers the cost of the cookie from the kindness of her heart! bless her!!“

“My wife and I have been to Tias Taco hut before over on Babcock had great service. Today we tried Tias on Blanco by Churchchill High School on Blanco, I had order beef enchiladas the waitress brought me cheese enchiladas she even said who ordered the beef beef enchiladas, as I cutted into the enchiladas it was cheese , I had told the lady I order beef she no you order the cheese , the showed me the ticket what she wrote down , but I didn't want cause a seen but I told I said beef and my wife know I said beef. but the lady didn't offered to fix so I ate it anyways because the food is good, so I'll give a rating to this location a 7 for now.“
