“Came here on a dime! Was in the area didn’t want the loud bar type place for a bite. My bf and I walked in with a warm welcome. We ordered and sat down the charming place was nice and quiet. I love the ice cream parlor vibe with vintage setting with the diner seats and stadium seats. Had my heart with the little table and chairs for the littles. We were pleasantly surprised! The FOOD yum!! we definitely agreed we would be back and added to the list.“

“We called in to put our name on the list which was cool because that put us at the top of the list when we got there.
Our server was great! ...I just wish I could remember his name. 🤔
The salad and bread stx were perfect as usual. I decided to get something different this time and tried the Chicken Stuffed Marsala. Honestly, it was ok. Just ok. That's probably because I've had outstanding Marsala at real authentic Italian restaurants. I probably won't get that again but I know we will be back.“

“The food was absolutley awesome! Very fresh and very tasty. Best sushi Ive ever had! Not only was I eating great food, But the football game was on! Not crowded, excellent food, cold beer, great service, and football. Doesnt get any better than that.“

“The food was amazing. We ordered takeout while visiting from our of town. They ran thirty minutes late picking up our order, but the food was good. The mongolian beef, while tasty, was not authentic. They were very pleasant and the place was clean.“
“Update 2023: Unfortunately the Elks isn't what it used to be...... The last few times we've eaten there have been a disappointment, it's been warm inside and they managed to run off good leadership and stewards of the community!!
Original review from 2022: We are members at the Elks, and truly appreciate everyone there. They always welcome new guests, serve great food, have the best wood dance floor in New Braunfels, and there quite a few special people that volunteer and work there. Dances are always open to the public, so join us sometime!!“

“Staff is friendly and informative, especially when my family hasn't been here before. So many great options and the portion size is perfect for TEXAS. Food tasted sooooo good, you keep wanting more! This is now one of our favorite spots to eat in New Braunfels. Totally 5 🌟.“

“Their food is consistent so if you like Las palapas, this one is no different than the others. The only issue I run into is whether they're busy or dead. It takes a long time to get the attention of somebody to seat me. I usually come in alone so I don't know if they kind of glance at me and assume I'm there to pick up doordash or something like that. But I just want to sit down and eat while I'm on my lunch break. It happened on basically every occasion that I've went there, by the time I'm seated by the time my food comes I have about 5 minutes to eat and run and that's that I get an hour break. I'm a very shy and non-confrontational person so it's really hard to navigate these kind of issues. It's the job of the restaurant to take initiative and greet people and ask them what they want.“

“This location as many others are fast friendly and clean. The drive thru entrance is a round about situation, literally jave to go around the building then can get into another round about for drive thru, they made good use of the small land they have. Still great customer service, my fries were a bit on the crunchy side and saltier than normal still ate um up!“

“My wife and I have been to Tias Taco hut before over on Babcock had great service. Today we tried Tias on Blanco by Churchchill High School on Blanco, I had order beef enchiladas the waitress brought me cheese enchiladas she even said who ordered the beef beef enchiladas, as I cutted into the enchiladas it was cheese , I had told the lady I order beef she no you order the cheese , the showed me the ticket what she wrote down , but I didn't want cause a seen but I told I said beef and my wife know I said beef. but the lady didn't offered to fix so I ate it anyways because the food is good, so I'll give a rating to this location a 7 for now.“

“So i came into Mcallisters new Braunfels for lunch and when i tell you the service was Amazing. it was AMAZING!! i didn’t catch her name but the lady (blonde ) was so sweet and patient taking our order. and not even five minutes after ordering we got our meal. the food is always immaculate and the best way to end the meal is with a cookie. so i go up to order one and she is super sweet and covers the cost of the cookie from the kindness of her heart! bless her!!“

You guys have got to give the young man Mr jay a raise or recognition , we had a young lady take our order and dang near run off after , Mr jay came up to the window and said i would like to apologize as we are short staffed it will be a little while but i am so sorry for the current wait would you guys like extra sauce or anything else i can be of service for you guys ? And than in the end of our wait he gave us 2 cookies i know i know nothing crazy huge but the respect the over all
Principle this young man knew how to keep situations at calm and go above and beyond with a here you go for your wait he served us conveniently mr jay will go far with his character .“

“Best pizza in New Braunfels. The supreme pizza was indeed supreme and their pepperoni pizza rolls are the best I have ever had. I called in an order and it was delivered hot and fresh within 25 minutes. Courteous staff. Will be going back for more!“
