“We are new to the Valley and are searching the little gems. We found one at Santa Fe. The steaks were great. My spouse had the filet, cooked to perfection medium rare and velvet smooth. I went for the ribeye. Same results, perfectly cooked. Both steaks had flame char. Our server, Poppy, was divine. She was so helpful and attentive. We will be back.“

“Idk what happened yesterday, but the food was not as good. The bread from a burger was cold, the potato soups were cold, the soda tasted like bad. It wasn’t like that before. They did replace the soups but we were not hungry for it anymore“

“This is our third time here. The wait to be seated was 15 min, which was fine. The waiter and I couldn't hear each other. There were so many tvs going with different programs. One is enough? The service was great, and the food came out in a timely manner even though it was a busy Friday night.
We ordered:
1. Queso dip - good, but order with no tortillas and more chips.
2. Burger - good as expected
3. Cobb salad with shrimp- good, but the shrimp were overcooked.
4. Lava cake - the best“

“The food was very good — everything we ordered was tasty and well-prepared. However, the customer service was quite poor. I requested the kids’ menu and explained that I’m a bariatric patient who medically cannot eat large portions. We explained the situation respectfully to the server, but she reacted with clear frustration and went to speak to the manager as if I had asked for something outrageous.
In the end, we decided to share a dish instead, which resolved the issue, but the overall experience was disappointing. It’s unfortunate that even after explaining a medical condition, there was such a lack of empathy and flexibility. It really left a negative impression, despite how good the food was.“

“First thing I want to do is to give a shout out to "Fork It," from Facebook for showing this restaurant on his Facebook page. my cousin and I drove from Harlingen to Cabalen, just to try the food. The trip was worth it! The people there are so friendly, and the food was sooo delicious, the owner even gave us some food samples to try. I highly recommend this place to everyone. You will not be disappointed. Thank you!!“

“All i have to say is this place was beyond our expectations. While waiting over an hour at another breakfast place we stumbled upon this cafe with a simple google search. My husband called to see if they had a waiting time and just our luck they didnt and even offered to reserve our table for our party. Customer service was excellent, and the food was chef kissed!! You can tell they make their food with love, it was so tasty 😋 overall this place is great and i cant wait to come back for those chilaquiles 🫢🫢“

“We came to Nak Won Jung and tried the galbi, kimbap, and seafood soup.
The galbi had great flavor but was a little on the tough side — wish it had been a bit more tender. The kimbap was fresh and satisfying. The real standout though was the seafood soup — packed with fresh seafood and full of rich, savory flavor. Definitely a must-try if you’re a fan of soups!
Service was friendly and the atmosphere was casual and cozy — perfect for a comforting Korean meal.“

“Came to eat their turkey dinner before Thanksgiving day. It was superb!! All the trimmings were delicious. Hillary and Leslie were wonderful, catering to all our needs. I would highly recommend this place. The atmosphere is so relaxing. Souvenirs are cute.“

“Came in here with a friend and got the fajitas tacos 🌮. They were delicious 😋. What made them really good were the tortillias de maiz. They were fresh and delicious. The fijorles a la charro were delicious as well. Service was friendly and great.

“If you live in the Rio Grande Valley, you have probably been to this restaurant. It is local food at relatively low prices, and it is open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. Remember that this is a small town, not a big city, so staying open all night is unusual. We tried it a couple of times. We ordered bean tacos, egg tacos, and coffee. It was good Mexican food. They have a breakfast combo that is very popular: 2 tacos plus coffee for about $5. We went through the drive-through window. The service was friendly and relatively fast.“

“The price was amazing for the amount we ate for 2 it was $98 but my man ordered seafood 🍢 for 2 botana the order came with fish 🐠 🍤 🍚 Fry's salad 🥗 and ceviche 2 cocktails but we wanted ours raise the Dead which have oysters in it so 3$ extra for adding 🦪 also 2 sea food soup 🍲....all that came in our order then he ordered a 32 oz beer🍺 me 24 oz 🍺 it was big.alot of food I 😘 it I will keep going there when I want seafood 😁🦞“

“This is my go-to local spot for pizza, I live close by and I have eaten from here since the early Pandemic. I have no problems with the food and the only times I've had problems were the very rare wrong pizza and the staff would correct and give me the correct pizza, no questions asked. The only other problem I have is that there will be Internet outages in the area and their phone/online ordering wouldn't work and I'd have to drive and place my order in person, which is no problem to me as I live close by.
When I'm feeling indulgent and by myself I'd order the calzone/stromboli and if I'm ordering for a group I can't go wrong with a supreme and a Pesto pizza (my personal favorite). I also appreciate being one of the few places to do a big pizza size, the New Yorker is a perfect for football games or visiting guests. I hope this places never goes anywhere“
