“This is a nice sweets and ice cream shop in old Galveston. Access to the shop is tricky for elderly or handicapped due to high curbs on the street and limited parking. However access to the shop is easy and there is a small one person lift to get you up to the store area.”

Decor, atmosphere, service and most of all, the shrimp brochette, jalapeño cheese grits and sautéed vegetables were awesome. Highly, highly recommend Tia Juanita’s. Have never had a bad meal! (Just wish they would expand to Canyon Lake!!!)”

“Island Time became our watering hole on our recent vacation and we were so happy with our experience. The staff was amazing, especially Julie and Josh, the drinks were fantastic, the food was your typical bar food but it was good, and the drag show was entertaining. The only negative that our group had to say was that the drag performers were a little too push for tips; literally putting their hand in front of you for a tip. This happened a few times to us, and others, and when we tipped them one of them rolled their eyes and said “that’s it”. Other than that, we had a great time and would totally go back to this fun and welcoming place.”

PAPA’S delivered one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time. The blend of the sauce was amazing and the toppings we chose were awesome. Thank you for giving us exactly what we wanted and for being the best pizza place on the island.”
