“The food varies and is subpar on it's best days. The prices match the quality so you can't complain. Personally the barbacoa is my favorite here. The torta is decently good if you like those. The staff are nice and attentive. They will joke with you or just serve your food and leave you be. Depends on how you treat them. Great people though, doing the best with what they got. Diner itself is a little run down and what you would expect in the middle of a country lake town. It's clean and spacious though.“

“This place exceeded my expectations! The staff were very friendly and attentive. We had a party of twelve and received exceptional service. I enjoyed the waffle with blueberries and pecans, two eggs, bacon, and sausage. Our table also ordered migas, avacado toast, cinnamon roll pancakes, crepes, chicken fried steak breakfast, and almost one of each kids' meals. I was pleasantly surprised to find out this is a family ran establishment. I always like to support locally owned family ran businesses. I will most definitely be back!!! “We moved to Sherman 2 years ago and we recently found an excellent Mexican food restaurant in Sherman. Bruno’s Mexican Kitchen has great enchiladas and I love the chicken fajita salad. The guacamole is so fresh, some of the best I have ever had! The wait staff is so prompt and friendly. It is very clean and has fun decor! It definitely 5 stars in my book!!“

“Small but very authentic little tex-mex restaurant. Amazingly, their food has never made me sick despite me having multiple digestive issues/restrictions, which makes them a winner in my book. Food is VERY good, but only some of it is mind-blowing. Very big portions, so expect leftovers. Service is prompt and able to handle complex orders in English.“

“Having family in Denison, we regularly visit Kent's. Always great sized portions, lightning speed service, and really phenomenal tex mex. The carne asada was my most recent new order. Covered in grilled onions and bell peppers and the steak was cooked to perfection. Typically I order the Chicken Fried Steak, they have the top 3 best chicken fried steak in North Texas. Great size, nice thick cut ribeye inside, and a nice savory gravy.“
