“Our church group went here last Saturday afternoon after a church singing. We had about 20 people and we got seated immediately. Heather was our server. Let me tell you folks. She is amazing! Got our drink orders quickly. Remembered what we were drinking, which is mind boggling! Got our food out very quickly and of course it was delicious. Then she split our checks up into about 15-16 separate bills. I highly recommend this place and try to get heather as your server. Great job all around, Cotton Patch! Thank you. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼“

“Second time for a gaggle of planes to come in for lunch. Agree with other reviews. Little short staffed, but with our big crowd, understanable. The breakfasts (served all day) are really good. Burgers are average size and plenty of fixins and fries were OK too. Nice and VERY clean cafe and terminal bldg. I'd call it at $75 hamburger, just short of a $100 burger :-) Recommend the breakfasts A+++ Will be on our radar when a bunch of us want to fly down for a good meal.“

“Enjoyed our evening. Our waitress was very friendly and courteous; so were the other staff persons.

The Mac and cheese was not what I was expecting. It was pasta with cheese sprinkled on top and garnished with bacon - a solid no. Everything else was pleasant. When the music came on that made that atmosphere a little more jovial.

Would have like to been informed that the lunch menu was still and option as the patrons who came after we did were given that option.“

“I love this location. The food is always perfect. However, today was special. After we sat down, we were greeted by Rochelle. She is a trip and so sweet. Her friendly attitude is amazing. I was there with my parents and siblings. My mother was having a sad day and Rochelle brought her coworker Eric over to our table. He sang to my mom. No reason, he just did it. It made her day! It was a pleasant surprise. The people who work here are just genuinely the sweetest people you could meet. We come here often but today was extra special.“

“I have did taste tests in DFW at more than 12 BbQ restaurants, and this was not in my top 10. I like my meat on my ribs to be well seasoned and tender and these were tough and the brisket was also tough. Would give it a 6 out of town because the sauce was pretty good!“

“This is an above average location with very decent food. I went during the overnight hours and the servers were very upbeat and vibrant. The attention to detail was superb. A very jovial atmosphere between the cooks and servers/waiters.

Parking: The crows roost in the trees on the edge of the parking lot at night. If you don't want your vehicle messed up, park away from the trees.“

“The Customer Service of the young lady at the register and store Manager Jesus went above and beyond Service. Mom and I decided to dine in to eat some seafood, we ordered a 2 and 3 piece fish meal and they offered us some fried shrimp for an additional reasonable price with 2 waters. The food was delivered to our table hot, fresh and it was delicious. The Manager Jesus even came by our table to see if we needed anything else. “JJ's is a classic south-side fish and chicken joint. Nothing fancy to look at and no pretentious decor - chairs and tables, TV's and great food. But if you want great tasting consistent chicken wings or fish, JJ's is your spot. Very consistent food prepared the same way to get the same level of flavor and juiciness out of the first to last bite. They carry a big selection of deserts. I have not had all of them, but the one's I have had were above average and delicious. My go-to is the 10 piece wings along with a perch dinner.
If there is one shortcoming, it's that they serve tarter sauce packets with the fish. Order ahead because they are always busy.“

“We arrived, and their was a live saxophone player performing. We generally go to Red Robin but wanted to try something local... We ordered their basic hamburger with pepper jack, and it is the best burger my husband and I have ever tried.
We're coming back tomorrow with my in-laws. They even have a vegan burger option which is always appreciated. Plus the service was friendly.“
