“Honest Review
My wife and I have been coming here from time to time, and unfortunately this visit was pretty disappointing. We ordered the family packs, which included 2-liter drinks, and we specifically wanted Coke Zero. They didn’t have Coke Zero available in the 2-liter bottles, which I understand can happen. What I didn’t appreciate was how the situation was handled.
I asked if we could substitute the 2-liters for a few of the smaller Coke Zero bottles they had available. Considering that we had purchased multiple family specials and were already paying a good amount, I felt that asking for 2–3 smaller bottles as a substitute was more than reasonable. Instead, I was met with an attitude and felt like I was being treated as if I was asking for something unreasonable. Another employee eventually stepped in and allowed the substitution.
The problem is that the substitution still felt like a bad deal. We were essentially supposed to receive around 4 liters of soda with what we ordered, but ended up with only a couple of much smaller bottles. At that point, it felt like we were paying for something we weren’t actually receiving.
I’m not upset that they were out of Coke Zero. Things run out. What bothered me was the customer service, the attitude, and the lack of a reasonable effort to make the situation right. We’ve enjoyed coming here before, which is why this experience was especially disappointing. Hopefully management can take this as constructive feedback because good food is one thing, but good customer service matters too.“

“Great catering! Taco express has great tacos, excellent meat shop, but fantastic catering. We asked them to cook for a wedding and they did amazing. Everything was prepared perfect and right on time for pick up! Taco express provided an authentic street taco meal for a big crowd and everybody loved it.“

“We were in town for the weekend, so we wanted something familiar for my gluten-free teen. Mari was very polite and helpful. The restaurant was clean and service was quick. My kid got the shrimp Baja tacos and I ended up getting my usual, chicken nachos. Probably the most balanced nachos I've ever gotten. Plenty of cheese and chicken to support all of the chips. Definitely a great place to stop if you're in the area.“

“I ordered the taco plate with 2 beef and 2 al pastor taco's with refried beans and rice. It was very good! The beans and rice were very tasty. The al pastor and beef taco's were amazing. They make their corn tortilla's fresh! 5 stars! Very nice people. I am very happy to support small business's that put such great effort into creating great food for their customer's. I hope they open their own restaurant in the future. Kudos.“

“The food here honestly sucked. The quality just wasn’t there at all, which was a huge letdown. As for the atmosphere, it was completely average—nothing special or memorable. The service was a bit of a mixed bag; they were incredibly quick and efficient when it came time to take my cash, but completely lacked any effort when it came to the actual food quality and overall care. I won't be returning.“

“This place is AMAZING! I’m from El Paso, Tx, right on the US/Mexican border where we take pride in our Mexican food. Chicaly would make some of my local places hang their heads in shame. I ordered barbacoa, al pastor and nopales a la mexicana tacos, (I wanted to try the chorizo tacos but they didn’t have any). But let me tell you the three that I had were out of this world!!! The salsas were just the right amount of hot and flavor. They gave the tacos that extra zing that made them that much better. I’ll tell you one thing, this little place definitely makes it’s mark in Hutchins, Tx. Make sure whenever your in the area you stop by and have some of their food. I’m gonna have to try the ice creams next time…I’ll be back every single time I come through here for sure!“

“This is my new favorite taco spot! It was sooooooooooooooo GOOD!! I didn’t even take pictures!! I ate it so fast!! Ordered the 3 taco plate, steak on corn!! The meat was juicy and seasoned to perfection!!! The refried beans could use some seasonings but the rice was delicious and the tacos were so good!! I’ve seen bad reviews but I’m glad I went there and I’ll probably be back tomorrow 😜 the lady taking my order wasn’t friendly per se’ but she wasn’t rude either she lands in the middle for me!! But the food was soo good who cares if she’s not nice.😊“

“I've lived in Texas for the past 18 years, and by far these are the best breakfast and lunch tacos I've ever had. The food is incredibly authentic, and every bite is packed with flavor. On top of that, the ladies who work there are always kind, welcoming, and genuinely appreciate their customers.
If you're looking for a hot, satisfying meal that fills you up without emptying your wallet, this is the place to go. I highly recommend it—definitely a must-visit! ❤❤“
“My husband, toddler, and I went went there for lunch and had such a great time! The food was good! The service was great too! Our waitress was very nice, attentive, and friendly. Awesome music playing! We enjoyed it and will most certainly be back for lunch there again! I would defiantly recommend this place for a family lunch.“

“I love this place. I would order once a month, the breakfast tacos, for my Women's Class and every single time the women gobbled them up, women new to the class would ask me who made these tacos, give me the address! The tacos are excellent and they don't skimp on the fillings either!“
