“I stopped in last minute for a takeout meal and was glad I did. The service was friendly, and based on the cashier’s recommendation, I went with the two chicken tender meal with fries. While I had requested no pickles, my order did still come with them, which was a small miss.

By the time I got home, the fries were still crispy, and the sauce complemented both the tenders and fries really well. The chicken tenders themselves were large, flavorful, and had a nice spicy kick, while the fries were well-seasoned and plentiful.

Initially, I thought the price was on the higher side, but given the portion sizes and quality, it felt reasonable in the end. Since the pickles were placed on the toast, I decided to pass on that, but overall the meal was satisfying and worth the stop.“

“SOOOO GOOD! the chicken and rice, alfredo pasta and loaded fries are so good. best alfredo pasta i’ve ever had tbh. came for my birthday yesterday with my family and they took care of us so well even tho my family can be very indecisive at times, so attentive and quick with everything. the staff and manager are so kind and helpful as well. a must try in houston!! will definitely be back with my friends. 10/10!!“

He was extremely pleasant, well educated on the menu and overall we had so much fun with our selections and presentations as the food was coming to our table. Wonderful experience. “The hubs and I have come here twice. First time we got the steak and burger and a sampler platter. One of the best steaks I've ever had! And he loved his burger. This time we got taquitos and fried okra. I had catfish fillets and baked potato. He had chicken tenders which were hand breaded. So good again. The cooks here take pride in the food. I can't remember our first server but we had Nicole this time and she was absolutely amazing. Friendly and efficient. Made us feel very welcome. Nice bar for great neighborhood eats.“

“Food was great and the staff was accommodating to put on the Astros game while we were there.
We had gotten the fried pickles with jalapeño ranch as our starter, and I was pleasantly surprised by the kick the ranch had but it wasn’t over powering. The fried pickles themselves had a good crisp to them from the fryer and good seasoning in the breading.
For our entree, I had gotten their BBQ chipotle burger with tots and my wife got their new fancy grilled cheese with tomato and bacon, fries, and a tomato soup dipper. Both of had no complaints and made happy plates of our meals.
For drinks, I had a couple of glasses of one of their Chardonnay and my wife had their strawberry lemonade sangria. The sangria was pretty tasty for the few sips my wife allowed me to have before taking it back and drank the rest by herself.“

“The Roof has great potential. It has a great location and the restaurant and bar is very nice. We were there on Wednesday evening the 27th of August. We made the reservation and said that we were celebrating an anniversary. We were the only people eating a meal. They are trying hard to make this restaurant a success. They had a couple of specials that evening which were nice. It is worth a try, but unfortunately we left with the feeling of not going back - also it is quite a few miles for us to drive. We wish them all the best in the future.“
