We had a chicken katsu, mountain roll, Hawaiian roll, and a Dallas Stars roll and my god they were incredible. The presentation, the amount, THE TASTE. “I brought my mom here for lunch yesterday. The waiter that served us had kind of a crappy attitude honestly. In some moments he was nice but my mom asked what comes on a bento box because she's unfamiliar and he told her "it's on the menu". She just wanted someone to explain it to her because she was confused by the sushi and the meat options. Obviously not an item she orders often. She asked what the meat is for (i think she thought you get sushi or meat she wasn't understanding it was a part of the box) and he looked at her like she was stupid and pretty flatly answered the question. It embarrassed her. My mom is a really kind hearted person so it was frustrating watching someone make her feel dumb for asking a question in an unfamiliar environment. Sad. The food itself was good. The waiter likely was having a bad day. I've been a server and understand. But wish he'd been kinder to my mom.“

And I was NOT disappointed.
The service was excellent, the decor was cozy, and the food was divine. The miso soup was perfectly done, not too salty, not too bland, but nice and hearty. The chirashi bento was amazing. Instead of the usual meh salads they give you squid and seaweed salad which were delicious. The half tuna rolls were more tuna than rice and were fresh and delicious. And the chirashi was just heavenly. Each piece of sashimi was topped with its own seasoning to really bring out the flavor of the fish, complimented by the high quality rice and salmon roe underneath. I was so satisfied by the food I ordered dessert and got to taste the amazing tempura cheesecake. Though pricey, it was worth said price. I left the place full and happy and will be back. 10/10“

I got the Curry Vegan Ramen. Vegetable curry soup topped with napa cabbage, cabbage, carrot, bok choy, green onion and ajitama. It came with Housemade Vegetable Noodles as well. Highly recommend this spot!

“Came in for lunch this afternoon for the first time. First impression, the restaurant itself was clean and inviting. The service however, was extremely poor. Our server made it apparent he did not want to be there. We had to ask for water multiple times, as well as plates and utensils. He didn’t seem to want to acknowledge us at all or make eye contact. Now, the food was great. We ordered the Hot Mama roll and the Shaggy dog roll, and both were exceptional. The Kani salad was a nice and refreshing appetizer, and the Spicy Miso ramen hit the spot. The only downside was the Chicken Fried Rice, which was pretty dry and bland. Overall, the food made up for the poor service. We will definitely come back to try more of the menu.“

“I finally decided to try this restaurant after living in the area for five years, and I’m honestly mad at myself for waiting this long! I ordered the egg foo young, and let me tell you it was incredible. The gravy was rich and flavorful, the egg omelets were beautifully cooked with great color, and the texture of all the ingredients was perfect. Whoever fried it deserves a shout-out because they definitely fried it with love.

The portions were huge in the best way. I had to split it into two meals, and it was just as good the next day. This was my first time coming here, and now my favorite dish is officially my favorite dish from this restaurant. I will definitely be back, and I’ll definitely be ordering the egg foo young again.

The inside of the restaurant was really cozy too. I loved the visuals and the peaceful atmosphere when I walked in. Hopefully next time I’ll get a chance to dine in.
