“I have always loved Dairy Queen, even after I worked there, lol! These are my favorite burgers, and the soft serve ice cream can not be beat! I substitute the jalitos for the fries in my meal. They're super tasty, and eating peppers is a good way to have a healthy gut. I recommend the full meal deal. You can't go wrong with the DQ choice!“

“This is easily the best McD's in central Texas. It doesn't look it from the outside, but inside is smartly appointed and comfortable. The food is the best version of itself and the staff is extremely professional. It's a McD's, it is what it is, but it's the very best version of what it is for 100 miles in any direction.“
“We technically have several locations closer to us, but this is a classic location with a really good play area and self serve drink station.We explicitly come for those reasons, but in addition to that, they seem to do really well at rush times of getting food out, and it matching the expectation I have for McDonald's food quality.Kid-friendliness: The indoor playground makes a huge difference here!“
“Pilot has always been my favorite roadtrip truck stop. I've reviewed several of them across the country. Consistently clean, nicely stocked, well staffed with workers always buzzing around, and they are one of the few that always has YOO HOO, my favorite drink on the road. It was about that time where I had to pull over. Not nearly enough morning coffee so I was eager to pour myself a big 24 oz. I'd been a member of their rewards program for years, but frankly, because it was geared to truckers, I'd never gotten much value from it. Free coffee after 10 fill-ups or something. So I was pleasantly surprised to see signs all over the store about their new app and the benefits you could get with it. I didn't have time to download and peruse it, but looks worthwhile. Made a beeline for the coffee and Whoa! What are all these newfangled gadgets I hadn't seen before? I've always loved Pilot coffee. Good variety and every additive you could dream up. But this! In addition to the multiple carafes, they had two new (to me) machines that provided even more variety. Unique blends like Rainforest, Organic Sumatra and Peruvian. I can't be sure, but the machines might even grind the beans fresh. Pilot has clearly stepped up their coffee game! It was the Texas Pecan, however, that beckoned me. Nut , vanilla, honey and molasses. Make mine a double! Topped it off with a light layer of vanilla cappuccino. Divine.“
“Old school burger and shake shop. Had a cheese burger w/tots. Cheeseburger was good, buns were toasted, veggies were crisp, tots had a nice crunch. I saw this place online but ended up running into it by accident and I'm glad I did. This little shop can get a bit crowded but it's old style good.“
“Even tho it was full of people after the solar eclipse of 2024, the personnel were kind and polite, remind me of the idealized US image of the old times, like the paintings of Norman Rockwell and Jon McNaughton, the US I imagined. The food was delicious, and one of the more affordable places so far, quite recommended.“
