“Quick Version: Come try it. It’s delicious.Long version: I walked in first time and right away was like, “This place going to be good because they have aunties and grannies working in the kitchen.” I was right.The torta cubana is good and they don’t cheap out on the ingredients. It had that thick ham not that deli sliced ham. They put either mayonnaise or butter when they toast the bread and cheese. The little things that elevate the taste, you know?When I try out a new taqueria, I like to order 1 taco of lengua and 1 of tripas. If they cook those two meats good, the rest is going to be good. Let me tell you their lengua is good. It’s soft without being mushy or blocky. AND, on a homemade tortilla boooooy! I didn’t expect that. It was delicious.The aunties treated us really well and made my coworker and I feel at home. They were very nice and friendly and even gave that regaño de abuelita because my coworker didn’t finish his torta LOL! It was really heartwarming.The horchata was good too.I would only recommend two things. A little more taste and spiciness on the salsas. Quiero moquear de lo picoso ?. And some love to the walls or decorations would really brighten up the place.Try the place. You won’t regret it.“

Russell reassured me that he would cancel that order so that my credit card wouldn’t get billed he was so friendly and so professional so I felt like it deserved to be rewarded with a great review! “I have always loved Dairy Queen, even after I worked there, lol! These are my favorite burgers, and the soft serve ice cream can not be beat! I substitute the jalitos for the fries in my meal. They're super tasty, and eating peppers is a good way to have a healthy gut. I recommend the full meal deal. You can't go wrong with the DQ choice!“

“Very well presented, as well as very tasting! Cookies are not your average size cookies, they are quite big. Love that they switch different flavors each week. Personally my favorite would have to be the banana pudding one!Kid-friendliness: My kids love that they’re are different flavors too choose from, as well as the the presentation they love to come see what different designs they have. They do have minis as well. The flavor is very good, and way more than enough. The staff is very friendly and polite“

“Hidden gem! Fresh waffle cones! I’ve been to other ice cream shops that run out of waffle cones and just say they are out. Not here! They were fresh and thin and crispy and perfect. The guy working was very helpful and recommended flavors. He was very quick and took care of everyone in line without much wait time at all. The whole vibe of this place is fantastic! Can’t wait to go back!!! Been driving past it for almost 2 years everyday and had no clue it was there!“

“I've been eating snow cones for 65 years. Baseball games. Fairs. Snow cone trucks. I even have my own snow cone maker (for my grandkids, of course). You get it. These are the best snow cones, hands down! Such soft ice. Great flavors - and so many. If I lived in Waco, I'd be here way too often. It was worth the drive from Ft Worth.“

“I have loved custard all my life! It's good for you! Sadly I had been convinced that custard just tasted better up north when I was younger, but I tried Katie's custard and their custard tastes better than any other custard I have ever found in Texas! It takes me back to childhood. You can tell that the ingredients are pure and of good quality. This is my favorite place!!!!!“

“My wife and I stopped by this place on a very warm day, the ice cream was the very best also the cone is great but it will break up pretty fast so now they line a bowl with cone then place ice cream into that it's fantastic. I've been there twice and both times the service was great definitely will be back.“

“Super fun signage and design. Interior is invited and stocked with all the favs, from gummies, to old time sodas, candy by the pound, and ice cream. There is a chocolate bar, with turtles, chocolate covered stores, chocolate covered pretzels. Really wanted some licorice and tried 2 varieties but they were hard as a rock. However the chocolate covered smore was ridiculous. If your heading to the Silos and can't get in head 1/2 a block away for food, bars, and candy.“

“Lots of options but settled on this place. I was not disappointed. They were really busy but the young lady taking orders was a gem. We ordered the giant slices, meatballs and the ginger brew. Everything was delicious. The hot honey was my favorite. If you like a little spice pared with a bit of sweetness this is for you. The flying pig was my cousins choice. I liked it but pulled the pineapple off. The meatballs are ample and very tasty. The ginger brew has a hint of spice and is amazing. We ate there and it was a nice little atmosphere. My rating of 4 is due to the food pickup process. They take your number but it's not to page or call. It's placed on the tray. I had a lady pick up some of my order because she ordered the same slice of pizza. I pointed at my phone number and she was trying to tell me she ordered hot honey. I wish they would just use an order number. Also I ordered the 4 meatballs but was initially given 3. They corrected it and handed me 4 hot meatballs. I get it. They were busy. It's logistics and can be easily tweaked. But definitely the difference in a 3-4 or 5 rating. However it would not deter me from returning for more hot honey if I were in town.“

“As a reward for a good dentist visit, I got to go here for some frozen yogurt bliss! It was my first time, and I’m sold on them! They have a wide variety of flavors and toppings I haven’t gotten anywhere else. Plus, I like that I can simply fill my cup and self serve toppings, and Voila! A bowl full of happiness! The lady behind the counter was also great, and the reading and play area make it very kid friendly for when I want to drop in with the grandbabies. Not too friendly for me, though, when my wife gets mad at me for taking so long and savoring each bite.“

“This place is famous for the icecream, its really gooey and tasty. I could put a long review but essentially its all about the icecream. The mangonada consists of 3 scoops of icecream, unfortunately not much mango pieces, and its very difficult to eat with the lid and straw on.Excellent icecream, if you want icecream come here.“

“I called and asked for a banana split before I came and was greeted good, I thought the atmosphere would be a lil awkward since i was a black guy walking into a mexican restaurant?? but they treated me right and the banana split was on point.?? “I love this place. I always get friendly, attentive service. I love the huge variety of flavors and the child sizes are perfect for my toddler. The ice cream is yummy (I mean it is hard not to love sugar filled cream ?). The atmosphere is relaxed and the variety of seating types is nice with tables and chairs and well as comfy plushier seating.“

“We went in with our kiddos , and we always love their food it never fails us. The manager in charge, Sean, checked on us and we let him know our daughter’s burger was just a little undercooked and he gladly made a new one. He offered us custards and he really took care of us. It’s been a minute since I’ve had great customer service and he really made us feel special. Sean is great manager!“

“Insomnia Cookie is pretty well known in Baltimore, so I was surprised to see it here in Waco. I appreciated the kindness the workers showed to customers, and my cookie was delicious. It was warm, soft, and tasted just like I remembered from the last time I had one.“
