“Goodness gracious what a great surprise this was. The green beans are OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS. Whole experience was a 10/10 and wish I lived here so I could come back for a quart of those green beans every week lol

The grilled crab cake had a good flavor but not hot (temperature wise) enough for my liking. I would try the fried instead if that’s your thing. The potato bowl with etouffe with fried shrimp was so good and seasoned.

Last week went to jp chang and was not impressed at all very very expensive small dinner portions chicken was not done right it tasted like it came out of microwave. “Jaspers is a real hole in the wall, the good type that you try to find and keep going back to. All about good bbq at very reasonable prices. The simple old decor is part of the charm as you focus on no nonsense eating. The jalapeno, onion and bread sides were perfect fixings to go with the bbq sampler plate we got.“

A couple of observations that may be worth taking note of: 1. Online ordering is hit and miss. The hours on the ordering website (chowbus) aren’t accurate and sometimes the add-ons or subtractions aren’t taken into account. 2. I noticed that some staff members park in the front. This wouldn’t concern me so much if it wasn’t for the handicapped patrons. Maybe I am missing something? Anyhoo, all in all, it is a great atmosphere and the food is absolutely delicious, and frankly, that’s why we go.“

“What a wonderful surprise! Don’t let the neighborhood keep you away. I had the gyro plate and the meat was so tender I cut it with my plastic fork…like butter. It was delicious. The hummus was great as well as the chicken kabob. I especially loved that it is family owned and run. A very special place. We will be back.“

Dumb a** me left my wallet at the restaurant and didn’t realize until getting ready to leave for the airport at 0830. We stopped by the restaurant to see if it was still in the outdoor eating area…nope. Luckily, ran into the contractor doing some work…he called the owner, the owner confirmed it was in the office safe. After hearing I needed to make the AM flight to DFW for connection to home, he dispatched an employee to go in on a planned closed day to get my wallet. This kindness allowed me to make my flight…what he didn’t know is this act of kindness was critical because I had a new job in-person interview scheduled for the next day. Forever grateful. THAT is customer service. Thank you so much! Tells a lot about the culture and dedication to customers. Keep up the awesome work…I will be back. Promise to keep better accountability of my wallet!“

I had Coconut Shrimp as my main served with fried rice which was also 10/10. I didn’t catch our servers name but she was killing it out there on a busy Friday night while serving everyone else! “Moroso Italian delivers truly authentic Italian cuisine. Had the Margherita pizza and it was amazing. Moroso does a great job with authentic Italian food, and their Neapolitan style pizza is some of the best I’ve had. The crust was light and flavorful, the ingredients tasted fresh, and everything came together perfectly. Great atmosphere and great food. I’ll definitely be back.“

Pizza by the slice is quick and easy, but we usually order a whole pizza or open face pizza pillows. “I order dozens of Rudy’s breakfast tacos throughout the year for company events and every time my order is perfect and always ready when I arrive at the store. This week I ordered 3 dozen the day before for an early morning pickup but due to an emergency I was unable to pick them up. Holly at the Waco store called and left voicemail checking to see if I was ok first and wanted to see if I was going to be able to pick up my order. I called Holly the next morning to explain the situation and the first thing that she said was I hope you are ok. She offered a full refund . Besides having great food, Rudy’s employees great people with great character that you don’t see much anymore. Thank you Holly and Rudy’s for your kind service.“
