“My husband and I just left Smoke Monkey after taking a long break previous to this visit today. We were faithful customers years back and then for some reason the owners sold out and it went to pot. Then we tried several times sporadicly to no avail UNTIL-TODAY. Today we were VERY pleasantly surprised. The food was hot and fresh like years ago. They have a lady named Christy that is a TOTAL DOLL that comes out every few minutes with fresh, homemade, hot, buttered rolls & hot wings, blueberry cobbler, etc. She came out and asked if we’d ever tried the Bbq and I told her that we had but it was to spicy for us and she looked confused and came back with 2 ribs and a large slice of Brisket for us to try. It was delicious!!!! We were treated like family and couldn’t have been more impressed!!!! We will definitely be back & if you haven’t been in a minute- give them a try! You won’t regret it! “Save your money, this is the worst tasting barbeque I have ever experienced. Two people dinner and drinks 42.00. Their barbeque is tasteless. stick to your locals, they know how to do BBQ right. Never again will I spend a dime in a chain restaurant. To make matters worse, the employees were like robots, cold and unfriendly until you got to the cashier who was delighted to take your money. This review is for the newly established restaurant in Mabank, Tx. They wont last.“

“Such a great place to listen to some live music and have a drink while the kids run around. Staff, especially our waitress, Taybree, was very attentive. They could use some more food options, yard games for grown ups and activities out for the kiddos to make it even better, but we will definitely be back often!! We really enjoyed our time.“

“We were recommended here by a dear friend. It was for our son's wedding. We tasted first, talked with him second, & hired him third! Some of the BEST BBQ around. We served up 50, & had none left over. DEFINITELY worth the reasonable catering price!“

“First time visit the day after Christmas- LOVED it! Chopped beef sandwich full of lean meat with no fatty fillers. Side of beans topped off with a squirt of BBQ sauce rounded out the yummy meal. Definitely worth the 2 hour drive! Highly recommend for your BBQ craving.“

“Food was delicious. But to go more in depth the bbq beans are sweet and have a barbqq flavor but the pepper flavor over took the rest of the bean flavor, the mac n cheese was good and really cheesy. I think the brisket was pretty good and so was the jalapeno cheese sausage, that was delicous. We got a discount for it being tuesday and recieving meat plates. The place was nice and quiet. Over all i would rate it a 7 out of 10“

“The wife and I tried there brisket and ribs this evening and it was really good and I definently recommend you try them if you enjoy delicious smoked food and grab a fried pie while your there. No more soulmans for us because Baker's is definently not stingy with there meat . priced better and tastier food . Staff was extremely friendly as well.“

“Omg so I was looking for some good ribs and I checked several places and read reviews and I decided to come here and when I tell you the ribs were falling off the bone omg so good!! 10 out of 10 would I recommend and I even told my husband I will be back tomorrow lol!! So good“
