“The best halal breakfast place. It has a mix of traditional American and middle eastern breakfast. We had the Mediterranean platter and strawberry cheesecake waffles. The waffle was delicious and we ate every bit of it.
The Mediterranean platter was a healthy choice with a good variety of dips to choose from.
The server was very helpful and courteous. Overall a great experience. Will try the Shakshuka on our next visit.“

“Overall, I always have a better experience at the location down the street near Lalaland. But this location is a little closer to my house so I come here sometimes and the service here just isn’t as good as at the other one which is less than a mile away. This morning my server changed mid meal and the new server didn’t even introduce themselves. It was super quiet and I didn’t get checked on till the new waiter showed up. Food was good per usual, I just wish I got put with the other waitress because I saw her checking on her guests consistently.“

“My cousin and I visited the Cafe this morning for breakfast. Our waiter - Phillip - was amazing! However, the food this time was a little disappointing. My cousin ate her grits and I had the Frech Toast. We also had bacon and potatoes. The bacon was not cooked the way we wanted. A new order was made, but still not satisfactory. And it was very salty. So we did not eat the bacon. Normally the food is outstanding but today's visit was a little off.“

This was the best donut place that I think I’ve ever tried, and even through DoorDash, the quality of food was incredible. “In this economy, this is the place to go. By far the best priced meals you can find. Not a huge selection of stuff but that’s no big deal. Delicious food and great portions. Little to no wait time to get a table.

Servers may be all over the place but get off your high horse and call one over.“

“The eggs are always perfect, the French toast is magnificent, the bacon and sausage are exemplary! All that being said the service surpasses your wildest expectations! I highly recommend 10 out of 10! The only reason I gave it four stars for atmosphere is it’s a little bit noisy, but I still wouldn’t hold that against them!“

“Lakewood Cafe is a great place to eat breakfast at. I was seated right away. Everyone was so kind. Muck gave excellent service. He was sure to check to see if I needed anything. I ordered the French toast combo and it was delicious.“

I went in at 1amish this morning and the staff was absolutely amazing. Best customer service ive ever received. Waffles were perfect (practically inhaled them) and my bacon was made exactly how i asked. It was fast but it wasnt rushed and i appreciated that. Great crew, both servers and cooks/chefs - except for the one server that can’t stay in the restaurant and get completed food order delivered to her table, didn’t check on us one time, never said a word except a few mumbles, we knew menu better than she did - need I say more?“

“Pretty decent food lowk was a little sad because they didn’t have my strawberry maple syrup (my favorite footie syrup) also I was told there were supposed to be goth baddies but didn’t see any little disappointed from that too. Tanner lowk a fire server kept staring me down I think he was biting his lip at me but it’s whatever I got a mommy voice so it’s understandable.
