“My wife and I were in Saginaw and looked up places to eat. We wanted somewhere to sit and eat and didn't want fastfood. When we walked in the place gave a very dive bar feeling and thought this was probably going to be a one time visit, especially because we live 35 minutes away. We were told to sit where we wanted (there was one table that was full). I didn't have high hopes. MAN WAS I WRONG. First, the waitress was very nice and answered all of our questions. If you go there ask for Lindsay C. to wait on you. We ordered the fried mac and cheese for appetizer and when she brought it to the table it was a fried ball with bacon on top sitting in cheese sauce, not at all what we were expecting. She convinced us to try it. I am a finicky eater but I went for. . .we took the portion we couldn't eat home! For my entre I got the fried shrimp but asked what they batter it with first as I am sort of a seafood snob (especially when it comes to shrimp). All I have to say is get the fried shrimp. It is battered with a combination of flour and tempura and is some of the lightest batter I have ever had. It was not at all greasy. It could have used more seasoning but if you use sauce or have it tossed in some problem solved. I gave compliments to the chef and the waitress mentioned that the owner considers the restaurant a 5 star dive bar. I don't know how many stars they deserve but my wife and I would be willing to drive the 35 minutes again yo go back. Ask for Lindsay C and try the hot honey sauce. . .my wife took the rest of hers home.“

“Craving Mediterranean and yelped this near by restaurant and off we went. Reviews were spot on. I wanted to so badly not like this place. The vibe is "fast foodish". Started off with the lunatic Sampler. Grape leaves, hummus, Falafels and couscous medley. It was delicious except for the Couscous medley. No flavor. Really enjoyed the grape leaves (Dolma's) and hummus. Both delicious! Recommend serving with a couple slices of lemon. Our entrees, bistro beef kabobs and Chicken & Gyro meat plates were really good. Steak and Chicken were super moist and tender. Highly recommend trying their sauces. Schug-a spicy grean sauce that was nothing short of exceptional. The Harissa, a smoky chili flavor was Devine. “This location is amazing and the staff are some of the friendliest and most helpful individuals. And as if this place couldn't get any better with their salads..they serve breakfast!!! Yes breakfast! And on top of the items tasting great and being good portions, this is by far the most affordable in these times with high inflation prices. I highly recommend those on a budget try breakfast here, without having to pay $10 for it. I paid $3.34 minus the tax for my burrito and it's a good size. Pictures attached. The salad in the photo was about 800 calories and I can split this thing into two servings easily.
