I live out of town currently and I ordered a pie for delivery online and I messed up not only the delivery time but forgot to add a note for the recipient. Completely my mistake. I called the store and Katie answered the phone, actually she answered every time I called (3 total LOL) I received a happy greeting and Katie was delighted to help me correct my mistake. She made me feel like a friend, not just a customer, and I truly appreciated all the help! Definitely recommend. Thank You Katie!“

“We highly recommend Caballero Bakery, we walked in this morning and bought a box of pan dulce, a variety of pieces for The Humane Society to thank them for their hard work in our community. They wanted to know where this pan dulce came from, they commented , " we have never had pan dulce so fresh, and soft. Not hard and stale". We sent them a screenshot of their website. We are always greeted with a smile, and treated like family. It's a must try!“

We had an Italian cream cake with cream cheese frosting and it was moist, flavorful and even decorated well. The cake was also very reasonably priced. We were most impressed with how fast the service was and how confident Yvette was in having our cake ready to go with very short notice.“

“Living in the Panhandle of Texas, finding a good TexCzech kolache is next to impossible. I don't mean klobasniky (sausage roll), they are everywhere. If you find yourself in San Antonio, however, may I recommend to you the Kolache Stop, east of I-10 on Huebner. Great selection of delicious–and authentic–kolaches in a welcoming and comfortable establishment. We were greeted kindly and given not only what we came in wanting, but also some excellent suggestions that we were glad to take. Kolache Stop makes kolaches with standard poppy seed, cream cheese, and fruit fillings (my favorite is the apricot!) as well as fruit and cream cheese and (my wife's favorite) nutella and cream cheese. Every variety we tried was delicious. In addition, they make breakfast and dinner kolaches that are worth your trip in. The egg, bacon, and cheese I had was well seasoned and fit the bill for a quick breakfast before we hit the road back to the West Texas plains. And, if you want klobasniky, they've got them, too. 😄 Bottom line, head to the kolache stop and get your kolache cravings filled.“

“I've been trying to stop in since the grand opening. The stars aligned today, finally, and I was able to check the bakery out. I decided on a Tomato Basil scone, a brown butter chocolate chip cookie, and, thanks to Heather helping me narrow it down, a loaf of asiago & pepper. The scone did not last the 5 minute drive home. The cookie was warmed in the microwave for maybe 10 seconds and then devoured. These will be the things I crave when the bakery is closed! Just phenomenal! NOW....a little different review.
