Being from Spain and cooking paella and making tapas, the food at Toro is authentic and wonderful. I have eaten at many “Spanish” restaurants thru out the US and this has been my favorite! “Dear Diary, I found this Quaint little bar near the convention center in San Antonio off the River walk. Had me a margarita for $17 and a pretzel for $9. The margarita was one that I’d say was in my top 10, and the pretzel tasted like your normal bar food. (Nothing to write home about, basically.) I sat alone in a nearly empty bar and enjoyed my drink and pretzel with some lovely tunes. It was a good time.“

“It’s is very nice, but surprisingly quiet. The food was ok. I ordered chicken Parmesan and it would have been excellent, but it was cold. My husband and daughter shared pizza and wings and they were happy. The service was ok, but all the employees looked tired and ready for the day to end. I’ll give them another try earlier in the evening next time.“

“Main St. is my favorite bar by a long shot. With cheap drinks, great bartenders, and daily specials, it never disappoints. The bartenders are what really keep me coming back; I never have to wait long for a drink, and they often ask if I want another before I’ve even finished my current one.“

“Great experience, went around 2pm and it wasn’t too too busy. They did seem to be a little short staffed but i understand. Walked in and was immediately greeted. Waited around ( minutes to be seated , ordered an appetizer while we waited for the wings and it was great! Loaded fries were great! The waitress was an absolute gem!“

“I found myself at the hoppy monk after a rare flash flood warning with severe thunderstorms where I took advantage of massive solar array disguised as covered parking.

I got a duchess burger (not on menu) which comprises of .25/5 patty, Romain lettuce, sautéed onions on a brioche bun. Oml was this just the most amazing burger.

“The Historic Pearl's Food Hall at Bottling, otherwise known as the Bottling Department Food Hall, which includes Park Bar, is an excellent space to grab a drink + take a break from the Texas heat as you are exploring the Pearl! :-) The space is really beautifully curated, and there is lots of seating!! Pearl's Food Hall, generally, is very clean & well-kept, making it all the more inviting!

My first visit to Park Bar occurred on a Monday afternoon (during a holiday) with my boyfriend, and we had no trouble getting a table after placing our drink orders. They have a variety of options at Park Bar (e.g. my boyfriend ordered a lager, and I kept it simple with a fountain soda). I'm looking forward to returning to try some of their cocktails + seasonal offerings!“

“To be honest, came to the Three-Legged Monkey because I loved the name then pulled up saw their logo, loved it even more. But honestly that evening they had a open mic night (I guess is what you'd call it) and the guy they had playing was AMAZING. He had his own twists on female artist songs and we even put in a request. Unfortunately he didn't have our first choice Blue October, but he did kill it with The Cure. Our bartender was super attentive, it was League night for darts so they were a little busy but not slammed to the point to where we waited a long time for our drinks. They only have one pool table which wasn't a huge deal; It was a good table. We left fairly early because we didn't want to get caught if anymore ugly thunderstorms were due to start again like there was the night before. The only bad thing is not necessarily per se their location bad even though we're following GPS. We did kind of miss the entrance twice other than that, when we're in the area again we will definitely be back as we had such a good time and hopefully that guy will be there again and have at least ONE Blue October song under his belt 🤷🏽‍♀️“

“This is my wife's favorite pizza place. They have many options for people with food restrictions. They are also very careful to not cross contaminate food. The staff is always friendly. If I lived closer we would go more often, but when we do go, it is well worth the trip.“

“This spot has become one of my go-tos in Stone Oak. It’s super spacious with tons of seating and TVs everywhere. They’ve got a solid beer selection on draft and some really good mixed drinks too.

Our server (didn’t catch her name) was awesome—friendly and super on top of things, even with the place being busy!

We didn’t eat this time, but I’ve had the food before and it’s always been solid. Just a fun spot overall. Definitely recommend!“
