Visited Mariposa inside Neiman Marcus at La Cantera—serene, hidden spot with butterflies floating above. Dining area is bright and peaceful, windows offer tree-backdrop views. Service was warm and attentive. Food was excellent: salmon tacos, lamb chops, and creative cocktails like the Mariposa Margarita. Prices are high (6 oysters $27), but portions are generous. This restaurant never disappoints. When my daughter comes into town she always asks to do lunch at Mariposa. Delicious!
I didn't really eat anything but I had the free appetizer that is offered to all guest. Place is very nice and well kept. Ms. Kayla from the bar took care of me and was very professional and attentive. I highly recommend going whenever she's there because she knows how to take care of guest and make them feel welcome. I'll definitely be going back in the future.
