“My wife and I went today for lunch, she had the Chicken fried chicken and I had a burger with mushrooms and sautéed onions. Also a cactus blossom for appetizer. By far some of the best food we have had in a while. Complements to the chef and team. Devon was our waiter and he was great! We will be asking for him for now on when we go back. Also if you haven’t tried the Raspberry tea, you’re missing out lol. Just wanted to share cause great service is hard to find these days and again great job!“

“Short review. First time visiting any location but had searched the one downtown. This was closer and open so was an easy choice! Arrived around 11pm after leaving Six Flags (Fall Festival). Got seated immediately with a party of four. Of course the Magic City Classic was playing so I was locked in (HBCU supporter here). They hit us with a round of waters, menus and we immediately got the German pretzel for an appetizer. We had an idea of what we wanted which were tacos, a burger or sandwich and nachos. All the items came out quickly, hot, well seasoned, well presented and the price for all four meals with two appetizers was under $100! I can attribute that to declining adult beverages this time but maybe the next trip, because this is a must return! Didn’t want to take pictures of other folks food but they all looked good (Korean Cheesesteak, chicken nachos, spicy edamames, and carne asada tacos) and everyone enjoyed.“

“My wife and I ate here last night. For an appetizer, we had the calamari. My wife got crab cakes with Brussel sprouts. I got the 22 oz bone in ribeye with a baked potato. The calamari was very good. Cooked and seasoned well. The cocktail sauce was made well also. The crab cakes were delicious. I don't like Brussel sprouts but my wife said they were amazing. The ribeye was cooked to perfection and was seasoned well. Both dishes came with a carrot that was amazing. It tasted like Christmas to me. The service was awesome. My wife also had 2 margaritas and she said they were very good. All in all, we had a great dinner at Bob's last night. We will be back. I want to try the duck and then the lamb.“

“This was my first time back to Outback in several years. My wife has many food allergies, so it limits where we can go eat. This experience was exceptional from the moment we walked in until we left.
When we asked to see the gluten-free menu it had a lot of options. The hostess made sure our waitress knew we had food allergy concerns. The waitress worked with the cooks to ensure everything was handled safely.
The food was phenomenal. I think we have found a new place for dates!

“The food here was absolutely delicious! We really loved the food. But the price point was higher than I would expect at this restaurant. We went out to eat with another family. They got there first and my friend said that due to the indoor kids play place that there were kids running around yelling. Thankfully, they left before we arrived. But definitely not something you want when you’re spending ~$50/person. We got the lb of ribeye but it comes with nothing. So we ordered jalapeño poppers and vegetables with it. The bacon on the poppers was cooked perfectly. I’ve never had such crispy bacon on a popper. It was very good. My son just ordered an 8 oz steak (the steak comes with nothing) and soda. He also ate quite a bit of the bowl of chips in the middle of the table. Those were good. My skinny margarita was decent and my husband liked his old fashioned. But for these prices, they should we least include sauces! You have to buy salsa or chimichurri if you want it. Also, they might consider having English next to their Spanish on the menu, especially on this side of town. But overall, we did enjoy the food. We were a party of 3 and so was the other family. So we were a total of 6, and when we got our checks the 20% gratuity was already added. That’s a very small group of people to add gratuity. Both our checks were just shy of $200 with gratuity. So I’m not sure if we’ll be coming back. For just a little more we can go to a Brazilian steakhouse with unlimited food.“

“OUR DINING EXPERIENCE AT RUTH'S CHRIS WAS VERY GOOD OVERALL. HOWEVER, I WAS DISAPPOINTED WITH THE VALET PARKING POLICY. BEFORE MY RESERVATION, I CONFIRMED THROUGH THE ONLINE CHAT THAT RESTAURANT GUESTS RECEIVE A FOUR-HOUR PARKING CREDIT WHEN USING THE VALET SERVICE. I VALETED MY CAR TO ATTEND A CONCERT AT THE ALAMODOME AND WAS PARKED FOR APPROXIMATELY SIX HOURS TOTAL. TO MY SURPRISE, I WAS CHARGED $65.00 AND INFORMED THAT ONCE THE FOUR-HOUR PERIOD EXPIRES, THE RATE AUTOMATICALLY DEFAULTS TO THE DAILY RATE OF $65.00—EVEN IF THE OVERTIME IS ONLY A FEW MINUTES. THIS POLICY FEELS UNFAIR AND MISLEADING. HAD I LEFT JUST TEN MINUTES BEFORE THE FOUR-HOUR LIMIT, I WOULD HAVE BEEN FULLY COVERED UNDER THE CREDIT. THE MAIN REASON I CHOSE TO DINE AT RUTH'S CHRIS THAT EVENING WAS BECAUSE OF THE CONVENIENT PARKING AND WALKING DISTANCE TO THE ALAMODOME. I HOPE MANAGEMENT RECONSIDERS OR BETTER CLARIFIES THIS POLICY FOR FUTURE GUESTS SO THEY CAN AVOID UNEXPECTED CHARGES.“

“The food was gooood!! I have visited multiple yard House locations..food is almost the same everywhere. The pepperoni on the pizza were a bit soggy but rest all is good. The scorched melon mocktail is really good if you like to drink something sweet and non alcoholic. I didnt like the chocolava though...it was overbaked so it was like more cake and less lava.“

“The Barn Door is an Alamo Heights staple! Everyone that works there is extremely attentive and polite! They are the PROS when it comes to superb service and DELICIOUS steaks! They have an excellent bar selection and are known as a TOP restaurant for large get-togethers or FAMILY celebrations! Each dining room has a theme that speaks to VETERANS, ‘09er’s, and SAN ANTONIANS alike! I would say, that’s it’s just like winning the TRIPLE CROWN when it comes to Service, Food, & Atmosphere! “Audra M. was notably one of the best servers we've had in a very long time across a large variety of nicer dine-in restaurants. To begin with, we were celebrating my girlfriend's and her dad's birthday and brought a red velvet cake. Without hesitation, Audra offered to put it in the guest refrigerator while we ate. That is something NO ONE has ever done in the past. It seems relatively basic, but it opened up some table space and kept it nice and cold. Little things like that really go a long way in the service industry. She went above and beyond to make accomodations for us, keep our drinks refilled, and quick witted taking notes for our order. Obviously, that kind of job is easier when you can multitask well and memorize a lengthy list of requests. Thank you Audra for outstanding service! This is why we don't go to Texas Roadhouse anymore.“

“The food at this Longhorn is always excellent. We arrived at 8:30 om on a Sunday night and there appeared to be a shortage of servers. Our server was working hard to serve many tables. I think he would have been able to provide a more personal experience if he hadn't been juggling so many tables at once. He certainly got the job done. Perhaps because we arrived late in the serving shift, the dining room looked a little tired. More than one table had dirty dishes on it. Again, perhaps a thin wait staff. But overall, a good experience. I ordered the baby back ribs and they are always slow cooked perfectly!“

The Chef (s) know how to cook the perfect steak and menu's other offerings never disappoint. That said, the service is what really sets 18 Oaks apart. The staff makes the experience a genuine pleasure. The Wait staff is amazing, and we pray Luis never leaves! He is extraordinarily knowledgeable, personable, and attentive. He is my favorite waiter of all time. The Sommelier is an enthusiastic expert in his knowledge and enthusiasm for wine and winemaking. He makes the experience of selecting and enjoying bottles of wine fun (and rewarding!). I have genuine respect and appreciation for these two professionals. “We went to the Saltgrass Steak House on the River walk, San Antonio over the weekend. We ask to be seated outside, river walk view. The waitress comes to our table with two plates and asks if we are waiting for two more people. We are all confused because there are four of us and we are seated at a four top, but we say no, our whole party is there. The waitress seems confused and blames the error on bad information and walks off. The waitress comes back with 2 more plates and we ask for water while we look over the drink menu. We get our waters and the waitress takes our food order and that is the last that we see of her for about an hour. Someone else brings my salad, about 15 minutes later the other 3 in my party get their salads/ soup. I waited to eat with my family. Our food comes maybe 15-20 minutes later. I ask if we can have more water because at this point we have not been able to order anything else to drink. A third person brings enough water for 2 people and is like oops let me go get another pitcher. They come back to fill the other two glasses. Then the second waiter puts a third bottle of water on our table as a just in case. At this point I have cut my steak and half of it is fat. So I ask if this is normal and he goes on about how ribeyes are the fattest piece of meat in a condescending tone. I am pointing out that this thing is 1/2 fat, I haven't eaten any at this point because it is straight fat at the top. he offers to bring me a leaner option. I should have called it here and just said no thank you, buy I went with okay. He takes my plate and I see him showing the manager. My family continues to eat, they finish their food. Our original waitress finally circles back around.... think we haven't seen this lady since she took our order and still no drinks. She leans across my husband to say that she heard what happened and was I ready to order a drink. She only acknowledges me and walks off. I look at everyone in my party and say that I guess that I am drinking alone as I'm laughing. The waitress comes back to tell me that they don't have the drink that I ordered. I name a different drink.... I am seriously thinking that she will realize her error and ask everyone in my party for their drink order. She turns and walks away again. I told me mom I feel like we are in the sixth sense movie. Only I can see the people that I am sitting with... Another 15-20 minutes goes by and she comes back and says, they didn't bring your drink? I say no, they didn't, you can cancel my drink and food at this point. It has been over 40 minutes since the second person took my plate away, my family finished eating a long time ago. She goes to the bar and grabs my drink, comes between me and my husband, sets it down and says well at least you'll get something. My mom's jaw drops and she repeats the waitress out of pure shock. I just want to leave at this point. She does bring my food in a to go bag. She also brings the to go box for my mom, but gives it to me. Again, they are invisible. The waitress then attempts to explain our bill to my husband... we removed a steak, added a steak and drink. Oops, wrong bill. Let's try that again, nevermind right bill. My husband is always zen so he just wanted to leave too. I felt terrible because it was my birthday dinner. I picked the restaurant and while the entire interaction was entertaining, my husband was feeling like it ruined my birthday dinner. I ate my steak in bed at the hotel.“

“This location is truly wonderful compared to the others I’ve visited around San Antonio. Their manager, David, is so engaged with both his staff and the customers, and it really shows. I always feel so welcomed every time I walk in. We don’t make it over there as often as I’d like, but whenever we do, it’s always such a great experience.“
