Every time we go, the food is on point and the service is exceptional.It is a family run business with everything made in house, none of the prepackaged sauces, etc.Specials are always incredible and he always has something new to try.The wine.When you walk in, look around the second room. Walls and walls of wine to choose from.Will never stop going to Van's, they have become like family over the years.
All of the comments referring to the TPWD finding are completely out of context. Shark fin has never been for sale here or on the menu since my family started coming here in 2002. Any shark fin they did have in their freezer was purchased years before 2015 when it was legal to do so and still never sold them at their restaurant. People love to ruin other peoples lives and hard work with false allegations.

I love this place! I’ve eaten here since the late 80s. It’s sad to see them struggle after Covid, but they’re hanging on. Please eat here! Support local! The food is amazing in spite of the building being run down. Their wine selection Bo’s INSANE!
