“Carmelita’s Restaurant in Pharr is greatly recommended! The restaurant is very clean, waitstaff is very friendly and attentive to all your needs. The food is fresh and made to order! We ordered mixed botanas, which were generously served! The owner went above and beyond to help my husband and I plan my mother in laws 80th birthday celebration! This location closes at 3pm Monday through Saturday, however private celebrations can be planned for the evening. Sits about 65 people comfortably. Give them a call or visit the restaurant to plan your next amazing fiesta! They take care of everything! Just take your cake and any extras!“

“All i have to say is this place was beyond our expectations. While waiting over an hour at another breakfast place we stumbled upon this cafe with a simple google search. My husband called to see if they had a waiting time and just our luck they didnt and even offered to reserve our table for our party. Customer service was excellent, and the food was chef kissed!! You can tell they make their food with love, it was so tasty 😋 overall this place is great and i cant wait to come back for those chilaquiles 🫢🫢“

“The food was phenomenal! Steak fajitas with all the trimmings! Wow! Also, the Mexican Plate was spectacular! And our waiter for the evening, Ramon, was so polite, professional and helpful explaining some of our choices. He was prompt, courteous and very attentive on our refills, too. “We had a graduation party in the back room, since I was coming from Austin everything was arranged by phone with GM Jacob for about 50 persons,GM Jacob was so nice, attentive and made it happen with private menus let us come in to decorate. then his shift was over he introduced us to GM Leo which as well took very good take care of us, the location and atmosphere was great party was from 6-9 then after that they have live music at 10 which it become a different fun environment for adults only . prices were great and had 2 servers that were awesome but Jackie is the one that attended my side of table and she was amazing great attitude cheerful and quick, as too the 2 nd server but don’t recall name . Love Loved the whole experience thank you will return soon.“

“We couldn’t find a restaurant, so my daughter kindly suggested Taco Fiesta in my moment of fury. See my grandparents used to frequently eat here, and the workers knew their orders by heart. We met my parents there. The busboy even gave our table an extra wipe before we sat down. We were greeted with salsa and chips, and they kept the chips coming. The waitress was very attentive to us. We ordered, you could tell the food was prepared with love, but it came quickly. We enjoyed the variety of food from quesadillas to panchos. All the meals were accompanied with beans and delicious rice. It was raved about by OLD and young. Just when we thought the night couldn’t get any better, a mariachi man with a guitar serenaded us with song. He was only there for a few songs, but the memories were deeply imprinted on our souls. We left with a gracious amount of boxes and bags to take our food home, because of the deliciously large portions. The leftovers were just as scrumptious! We now understand why it is called Taco Fiesta because even the leftovers were like a party for our taste buds.“

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and that familiar smell of fresh tortillas on the grill. I started with the homemade chips and salsa — the salsa had just the right kick, and you could tell everything was made fresh. But the real showstopper? The carne guisada 🤤 Tender, juicy, perfectly seasoned it was hands down the best I’ve had so far. Oh, and the service? 10/10. “I love this stripes store!!! Every time I go they receive you with a " hi hello good afternoon good morning" They always have a good attitude everybody that works there the food is super good. I wish they made more oatmeal 'cause by the time I get there they don't have any I get there at 10- 10 30.“

“Recently moved here. I’ll occasionally grab a breakfast taco. By far my favorite stripes-7/11 to stop by out of any other one in the area. I was really impressed by their employee Juan who works on the Laredo taco company side. Very kind and such an interactive person, every conversation we’ve had has been delightful. You don’t see a lot of people who take pride in what they do, he has a great attitude and loves what he does. He never fails to radiant his positive energy when I stop by. Customer service is a 10/10 with him.“
