“First time back in a while. I went inside because I needed time to research the menu. You were out of one item so I had to make a call. Not a problem and the person who waited on me, Samuel, was not only very patient, but actually suggested the same item my wife typed in her text.

Very generous servings, but please don’t take it wrong and reduce the portions.

“My favorite dish is shrimp egg Foo young in magic china cooks it better than anybody else. My second favorite favorite dish there is the sesame chicken but I like mine with pineapple. Price is $9.95, But if the price quote over the phone was given correctly and now it becomes a $16 dish which I find ludicrous. I wonder if Jackie the owner knows about this.“

“I will recommend yes, as a price friendly, tasty food but my last visit was less than pleasing. I ordered cashew chicken and the plate was over 50% celery(no joke) and the fried rice wasnt more than a beige tinted white rice that had no flavor. Its been awhile since I had been there but def remember the dishes being better in the past.“

“Looking for new chinese restaurant after our old changed chefs, the sezechuan pork was good with a mix of vegies all in large slices, the sweet and sour pork came in a large portion and was also good with a large sauce dish. All meals are served in a takeout container and lunch menu comes with just white or fried rice. The restaurant was doing a lot of takeout early afternoon and the 6 tables and bar like seating were empty- making it quiet and good for conversation.“

“Best Italian restaurant in SA. Homemade everything!! Reservations are a must!!!! Small place that looks like a hole in the wall from the outside. My son totally turned his nose up to it when we pulled into the parking lot the first time and I had to convince him it was worth it. It's small inside too but I'm telling you that this team excels at table Tetris and rearranges that place so quickly. It's nicely decorated and really feels like a mom and pop type place. Again..... Reservations are a must!! I saw a ton of people turned away for not having a reservation. Now for the food... The Bucatini Florentine is my favorite but my son and husband swear my the Chicken Alfredo which I've tried myself as well and it's amazing. I remember them saying they didn't know it could even taste that good. Is it healthy.... Ugh... Probably not. The lasagna is amazing as well but be warned I know it sells out quite often so make your reservation early if you want that. I had the Bucatini con Salsiccia last night that I personally wouldn't recommend but everyone's tastes are different (if you love onion it totally for you) so I won't hold that against them. Still my favorite restaurant in SA for Italian... Heck probably my favorite place no matter the cuisine type. I recommend it to everyone in the hopes that maybe they become so busy that one day the open a place on west side!! Helotes maybe?!?!“

“Pho La is so dang good! I'm from an area with a large Vietnamese population and missed the food a lot when I first moved here, so it was exciting discovering this place is so close to my house. The food is so delicious and the portions are huge; you def get your money's worth in quality and quantity here. I usually get the lemongrass chicken and spring rolls because I'm a creature of habit, but I'll have to try everything else and report back, for science 🫡“

“Fried rice doesnt have the greatest flavor but its decent, the orange chicken was FIRE though it stole the show.....gonna get regular steamed rice with it next time but the chicken was SO GOOD. I can get 3-4 meals out of how much food I got and for $11 its a steal of a deal. I come here for decent well priced Chinese food, never disappointed, I know what im getting and I like it.“

“I had such a fantastic meal at this spot on Remount Drive. Everything was incredibly fresh and full of flavor.

The spring rolls were light, perfectly wrapped, and hit the spot. I also really enjoyed the hearty noodle soup and the stir-fry, which came with a generous portion of fried rice. The presentation on the classic patterned plates was a nice touch. I will definitely be back for another round.“

“Hidden gem! Right off I10. I had the triple delight Mongolian lunch special beef, chicken and shrimp. I was impressed by the quality of the beef it was a very nice and tender cut. The price out the door with a drink was less than some fast food. Soup came with the fresh crispy wontons too. Impressive.“

“Katie is a powerhouse of an employee omfg. Homegirl is managing the line, stocking up the drink station, and cleaning the restaurant in a span of a few minutes. There’s going to be a wait to get the more popular food items if there’s a rush but the folks communicate well to indicate that.“

“This was THE best food I have had in my entire life, the staff was so incredibly friendly, they let you sample foods aswell.
all the options are peanut free so this spot is great for those with peanut allergies, the boba was LIFE CHANGING.

“I picked up lunch from Golden Wok in the Shell gas station on Eisenhower Rd & Midcrown Dr. I should have called it in but I didn’t. Ordered the sweet n sour pork and lemon chicken with steamed rice. Also ordered the chicken Lo Mein, All plates were made fresh and tasted great. Good portions as well, and those were the lunch plates, the dinner plates are bigger. They have a couple of tables to eat at but they were piled with their kitchen stock. I’d order from there again.“

“I did not go to Panda Express because the toilets were staging a full rebellion. Nothing says authentic dining adventure like plumbing drama before the orange chicken.

From what I saw through the window, the food looked ready for greatness while the restroom looked ready for a plumber with battle experience. The smell outside was doing its own interpretation of “Kung Pao.”

“This location is very clean and well run. The staff is very attentive and fast. The shift lead when we ate there was great. For fast food Chinese, Panda is very good. This was my second visit with my 90 year old dad and he loves it. Even their iced tea is very good.“
