“What an absolutely perfect little place. Sunshine Kitchen is smack in the middle of the shopping center, I initially thought it was only a bakery but the owner Dara has a full menu from Breakfast to Lunch and everything is divine. I only have pictures of pastries and dessert but it was all delicious. I got the carrot cake, a pecan cobbler bar type of thing and the blueberry scone and omg. I gave the carrot cake to my friend and have regretted it ever since, she loved it and I loved everything I had!! Can’t wait to go back.“

I placed my order and they were shipped in perfect time to arrive for our party. They arrived so carefully packed, individually wrapped and were SO BEAUTIFUL! “Crumbl never disappoints! Every cookie is incredibly fresh, soft, and full of flavor. The weekly rotating menu always gives me something new to look forward to, and every flavor I’ve tried has been absolutely amazing. The cookies are perfectly warm, thick, and melt in your mouth. The presentation is also so cute, and the pink box makes the whole experience feel extra special. From the classic chocolate chip to the creative seasonal flavors, everything tastes delicious and high quality. Definitely one of my favorite places for a sweet treat — highly recommend!“

“Vulnerable moment: Since being diagnosed with gastritis, my health and diet has been turned upside down. Making plans in advance is impossible because I never know how sick i will be. I spend most of the day silently in pain and finding appetizing things to eat that wont irritate my stomach has been a battle I’ve kind of given up on until we figure out how I got gastritis and heal. Having to go spice, additive, dairy, gluten, and (mostly) sugar free to fight the inflammation, I’ve had to handmake everything down to my own sandwich bread. It was SO nice to feel a bit of normalcy today, be able to order from a menu without asking for crazy accommodations, and to have something actually amazing tasting. My love language is now their snickerdoodles and coffee cake! While I hope my illness is temporary, I will be forever thankful for this bakery and what they did for me today! ❤️🍪“

“Ordered a custom birthday cookie cake for my 26th and they absolutely delivered 🎂🥂✨ I asked for a more clean and classy design with the cookie visible in the middle instead of fully iced, and they did a great job bringing the vision to life. The ‘Cheers 26’ theme came out super cute, and the champagne details made it feel celebratory without being overdone. The white border frosting tied everything together nicely. Overall, very happy with how it turned out and excited to celebrate with family and friends. Would definitely order again!“

“My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary with a vow renewal ceremony on May 30th. We had someone else set to do our cake, but just 2 weeks before, we found out she wasn't able to. I set out to find a baker that would on such short notice.
I was recommended to call Cakes by Jula by our event coordinator. Wow, I was so surprised! Leslie answered my call, said they can surely do it and I promptly went into their shop to make arrangements. I had a specific style of cake in mind and wanted tropical flavors - pina colada, pineapple, coconut and lemon. Leslie listened intently to what I wanted and helped me pick all the right flavors. She even sent me home with cupcakes and filling flavors so my husband could taste test it all!
The cake was beautiful and everything I wanted! So moist, flavorful and delightful! I highly recommend Cakes by Jula! Thanks Leslie for being so attentive to my needs!!!“

However the reviews that mention that they don’t warm up the kolaches, or even offer to warm them, are true. This has always been disappointing to me. “I’ve been coming here since they opened years ago, off and on. My Dad even shipped kolaches to me in Seattle! I love them all but the ranchero and the cream cheese are my favorites. I had one this morning after a very long hiatus and I was so happy to bite into the hot, soft dough with a slight sweetness to it and then met with the spicy ranchero mixture inside. It tasted the same they always have- delicious! More of a pickup and go than dine in place.“
