“I visited this Hartz Chicken Restaurant on 2/21/26 at lunchtime. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly.
There's actually a senior discount! They were busy, but the buffet was fully stocked and hot. The staff was packing a large order to go, for out of towners in vans and a few car loads of people who were so excited.
The place was just explosive! AND THE FOOD WAS GOOD.
We ate in and ordered chicken to take home! We enjoyed the experience.“

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, eating crawfish and drinking Lone Star , back when weekends meant good food, good people, and running into folks you grew up with. I even went to school with the Repka kids, so this place has always felt more like home than just a place to drink. There’s an old-school charm here you just can’t fake. The kind of place where the stories get better every time you tell them, the beer is always cold, and the crawfish tastes like it did 35 years ago. When I talk about going back home, this is exactly where I mean. No matter how much time passes, I still love this place.
