“This was a really experience! It was tucked away off the main road about a mile or so but well worth it! There were five of us who dined. We ordered the fried catfish and shrimp, fried chicken, and one guest had the pancakes. The sides were equally amazing, including the corn on the cob, black-eyed peas, and cornbread seemed to melted in my mouth! Our lovely hosts Carrissa, and Cedric were warm and inviting too. It was agreat dining experience. Definitely 5 stars for me.”

“Food was good, service was good. The one negative I have is, curb appeal is so important. When I pull up to a restaurant and the weeds in the front are a foot high, I’m concerned about the cleanliness of the restaurant. I would really suggest taking care of that.”

“Haven’t been there in a few years. Went there this evening. The burgers, fries, and Texas toothpicks were great. The only thing I had a problem with was we went and sat at a table on the upper deck so we could talk because there was no one up there and the lower deck was crowded. Just after we sat down two employees came up and started to drag all the tables and chairs around. Being heavy wooden tables and chairs all they could do was drag them across the floor making a lot of noise. This went in for about fifteen minutes then just as it got quiet again they started doing it in the lower deck. Was impossible to hold a conversation.”

“When I walked in, there was another rude customer who came in before me who demanded his tip back because the employees didn’t break company policy for him. The lady at the front (I can’t recall her name) handled the customer with such grace and kindness and was honest throughout the entire process, despite how rude she was to him. That is exactly the type of people that deserve to be shouted out and praised for their hard work and gentle spirit in spite of rudeness and hostility.”

“Electric and fun atmosphere. Simple chairs and crowd is a mix of students and family. The food is simply great with spice level options. I prefer having my bread toasted and crispy but it’s not their style.”

“Mamaka never fails to disappoint. Each one of their açaí bowls is so good! I recommend their original mamaka bowl if you’re new to açaí bowls. The place is decorated very beachy, employees are all so nice, and their service is very efficient! They also have a nice outdoor seating area with swings and tables!”

“Ordering was a little confusing at first, with the set up and the menu. The owners assisted us and we're very friendly explaining the process. Price was a little higher than some, but then again, most bbq today is expensive. The food was great tasting and plenty of food

“While I really like fuego it seems that labeling the tacos seems to be a crazy thought! I have ordered delivery several times now and never seem to get what is ordered. Please label the tacos and double check the order so that it matches. Ordered a fuego steak and 3 other tacos and not a single one was beef? All 4 were chicken. Oh well.”

Also wanted to share how beautiful the cook was on the fried chicken dumplings I ordered yesterday. Everything was delicious, affordable and filling. I fell in love with Korean cuisine after living in South Korea for a year and this is the most authentic tasting Korean restaurant I’ve found in years. So glad I found the hidden gem that is Choi’s Restaurant. You guys will be seeing alot of me. It makes me sad to see negative reviews about wait times when the food is so good. I would just recommend eating here when you have time to spare or suck it up.”

“I finally visited Kanji Sushi last night. We had business partners in from Denmark and I told them to consider it for dinner as they were staying near by. Well they agreed and asked us to join them and made me order everything because somehow I was knowledgeable even though I had never been…suffice to say, I don’t believe we could have ordered anything bad.
