“Hands down…BEST PAN DULCE in north Houston, if not all of Houston.
As a latina, this place brings me back. It might be small, but it packs a huge variety of sweet breads/pan dulces. Quick and friendly service. Bread is fresh, delicious and they even had some gems that I haven’t had since I was in the single digits.
I’ve lived all over Houston for years and no other place compares to the quality of the food and overall service you get at this place.
1000% recommend if you’re looking for an authentic, traditional, affordable and delicious Mexican bakery.“

“I've shopped at this store for eight years, no complaints, until today. At least one cashier needs sensitivity training. FSA stands for Flexible Spending Account. It's a benefit offered through health insurance and the FS DOES NOT stand for Food Stamps. Ask before making assumptions. I have no issues with food stamps and I know they help a lot of individuals. But, not all BLACK people are eligible or use food stamps!! PLEASE be mindful!!!“

“I love Rao's. thir pastries are the best. I usually order a cake once a year, it takes about a year to forget that they have way to much frosting to cake. The taste is great, but the quality is brought down by the frosting amount. This has proven true for the Red Velvet and German Chocolate. Maybe next year.“

“Treated so well and felt like family!
My sons ice cream started melting and immediately the owner came and cleaned it all up after i did light wiping up, he also put my sons ice cream in a bigger cup and helped clean the table and was so sweet to him!
Both my sons, daughters, and my ice cream were DELISH! The sweet lady with the green/blue hair made them perfectly and was so polite and patient with us and our chaos. And we bought 6 cookies as well, YUM!
We will definitely be back, were from north of conroe but my bestie is nearby ❤️“

“We tried them today and were not disappointed! ALL of the items we got were so delicious! We tried three kinds of donut holes, sausage kolaches, sausage egg and cheese croissant, cinnamon roll, glazed donuts, chocolate iced donut, and a pink iced donut. Highly recommend all of it. We will be back for sure!“

“Wow!! I gotta say I always wanted to try some kolaches but never had the opportunity so I happen to be close to this location and finally decide that I wanted to try some of this!! I went in and this very helpful woman made my experience amazing, she suggested the bacon egg and cheese and MADREEEE DEEE DIOS. Tasted like heaven. LADY you are amazing. Great customer service I loved the ambiance and the place looks stunning, very clean and the kolaches looked very delicious, new favorite unlocked! Hoooray for Lady!!!“

“They should update their website. My friend and I came here for the happy hour in a weekday, since website says that they have happy hour from 4-6 in weekdays. They just said that they don’t do happy hours anymore. Then they didn’t have the Baked Brie that we both wanted. The food was ok, but please update your website!“

“Everyone here is so nice and welcoming! We stop at Shipley's for breakfast on our way to school when we can and EVERY Saturday when I'm off of work my son enjoys their delicious donuts so much! They're always fresh and melt in your mouth I'm so happy we have this one so close to home !!“
