My husband suggested we visit Mi Cocina, as it is conveniently located near our residence and had received a 5-star rating online. We arrived around noon today. Our server, Jairo, was helpful in recommending a dish, which proved to be delicious, featuring a combination of various appetizers. The food was warm and served promptly. Jairo also suggested drinks, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff consistently displayed friendly smiles, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Jairo and the staff deserve a 5-star rating from us.“

Each time the order has been accurate and the food is DELICIOUS! This morning I went in to place a to go breakfast order and the employees were very courteous. The restaurant always looks clean too. “we came in last night as a party of about 40 was being served and we were told there would be a 45 minute wait. we decided to wait around cause i had a feeling they were over quoting the wait time to pace the kitchen. the wait ended up being just 15 minutes. as a previous manager of a restaurant, i can’t help but wonder how many customers they scared away with that wait time. i believe you should seat empty tables so that guests can wait at a table and just explain that the kitchen is catching up from a large party. anyway. the service and the food was great. honestly, my only single complaint was how many times our server called us all “baby”. to my kids, that’s sweet. to myself, it seemed insincere and made me feel like i was in daycare. to my husband, i would say it was disrespectful had she not said it to us all about 45 times. it just felt like overkill. again, previously being in the service industry, i believe “baby” is not how you address adults. especially to a man sitting beside his significant other… might say it to the wrong couple one day. i am sure it’s just her habit, but maybe she could practice different replies. price was good and atmosphere was that of every other chili’s.“

I just can’t believe they’re charging a whole $1.25 extra for anything with egg in it! Eggs are back to their regular price and the cashier still tried to up charge us for eggs.. “So many perfect details. Too many to mention. The food, the service and the prices were great. But one small thing I noticed when leaving was the manager spraying and cleaning the menus. I was impressed. Too many places neglect that. I hate dirty menus that have hot sauce on them which hasn’t been cleaned. A dirty menu is a sign of a dirty restaurant. Christina’s is very clean.“

“We tried this place for dinner one evening, we both ordered the Brisket burrito and they dress them the way you request it as you move down the line. You can order portion size up front from Freebird to a Super Monster. I you are not that hungry you can order a half bird which is about half the size of a regular Freebird. You have two different types of rice to choose from then two different types of beans. You pick your protein then your toppings like veggies, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and then sauce. The restaurant was clean as were the restrooms.

“Had a good experience, but a new employee working there for his first day was wearing blue jeans and a T-shirt with offensive and disturbing graphics printed on it with the words "Death Row" and I should not have been looking, but saw his pants go down far enough to see his underwear when I was looking around to see if the place is clean and sanitary looking. I am very serious about food safety and sanitary environments. Taco Bueno has high standards, but I don't like someone not in a uniform shirt with the Taco Bueno logo and no name tag and behaving in an unprofessional manner. I asked for the manager, and she took my order and patched things up. She is very nice and would definitely go back when she can take my order personally. When I pay the high prices at Taco Bueno, everything BETTER BE COMPLETE, CORRECT, and ALL PROCEDURES AND CORPORATE GUIDELINES FOLLOWED.“

“I always have to go inside this restaurant even though I may be getting the food to go. The reason being that the lady manager believes that, even though they have an unlimited salsa bar inside, she should only give me one little hot sauce cup per item purchased.So I have to come in and fill up several additional ones myself at the salsa bar. Now I just go inside and order the food instead of bothering with the drive-thru.“
