“Alberts bar is great! We also got food at Rex’s Creole Kitchen and it is terrible. One star. The cowboy burger was supposed to be 1/2 lb- it’s probably less than 1/4 and is the same size as the smash burger, which isn’t smashed. The “brisket” is less tender than beef jerky and the buns are burnt. This is insane for the prices. I couldn’t recommend the food truck less, but please check out the bar!“

Eve was our ambassador the day I brought some friends in for a tasting. She did not know I’m industry, nor did she know how high a bar we set for quality at Covington Cellars; so we weren’t getting special treatment.

Eve was magnificent leading us through the flight. She captured the stories of each wine and answered the questions her guests had with ease. She’s a natural at hospitality, and that’s been my experience each time I’ve visited Jennblossom. Quality matters here, too. Highly recommend.“

“We ate at Leroy’s this afternoon to reconfirm what we thought first time we ate here. I’m reporting in to say that yep, it was just as good this time as our first time! We both had a taco first time: L had brisket taco and I had a pulled pork taco. Yum yum. Beans were also very good. And a peach cobbler for dessert. Delicious. Today we each had an order of street tacos. Also came with beans and a grilled pepper on the side. Another yum yum. And once again, peach cobbler…this time with ice cream. Very nice staff that checked on us several times. You can count on us, Leroy’s, as becoming regular customers!!!“

They opened their space to us for our private event this weekend and took care of us through everything! “This has been my favorite winery to visit in Fredericksburg for our weekend trip! The wine was delicious. We didn't do a tasting, but opted for a glass of wine to walk around their gardens with. My husband enjoyed their wine while I had both their white sangria and red sangria. They make it in house and may be the best sangria I've ever had. Both white and red were fantastic! Their property is gorgeous, a beautiful place to enjoy the wine inside or out. Plus, we purchased a beautiful bird bath for our garden and enjoyed looking at all the beautiful garden decor they have.
