“We wanted to eat some fried chicken and we just randomly googled and this place popped up on our search and we just went to try it. It was relatively quiet and not many people when we went there. It was Mothers day so we decided to go to places where not many people would take their moms.The place has Dickies bbq and Fried chicken options. We did not want the BBQ so stayed true to ordering half a bird and we stayed on the mild side. We got a cheesesteak (fantastic recommendation by the guy at the counter) Chicken sandwich and mac n cheese.The order does take 15-20 minutes but worth the wait as it was one of the best fried chickens I have eaten in a very long time. It was temperature hot and did take us a while to eat but it was juicy and not at all dry. A Perfect fried chicken. The Cheesesteak was also amazing and pretty big. The chicken sandwich was also good and possibly could be shared like the cheesesteak. The dipping sauce was very different and had a yummy taste. We also ordered the fried okra.Definitely, we will be back here and most likely will try the spicier chicken.Great Job Guys. We truly did leave satisfied.“

“I heard many good things about Oliver’s Gourmet. I decided today was the day to go for breakfast. I was greeted by a nice and friendly staff. I really liked the ambiance and decor. Relaxing music. I had eggs, bacon, and grits. All was delish. A little hidden gem of a restaurant.“

“Three of us went for a Sunday afternoon meal and we were glad we did. The ox tails were fork tender and well seasoned. The sides (collard greens, okra and tomatoes, yams, red beans) were flavorful. The cornbread was like home cooked!! The desserts (Italian Cream cake, peach cobbler and lemon cake) were very good. The service was outstanding!!! The servers were all pleasant and smiling. Staff checked on us several times during our meal. The owner checked on diners personally. We really enjoyed talking to him. “I started going to Amazing Smiles Houston Texas at the Fondern location two weeks ago. I am the one who is afraid of Dentist just like some of you. When they’re in the process of cleaning your teeth they would apply a gel on your gums which will numb your gums. Even when their going to pull or replace something they use the gel before the injection and I felt nothing. The staff there make you feel so relax and when leaving there they will make you feel so welcome that you would want to come back. “We always return to Mikki’s when I need my southern soul food fix. Delicious, consistent, and large portions! Friendly staff, free parking in lot (watch out for the big potholes ?), bring your wallet- it’s pricy but worth it.

The atmosphere is more to each their own, I would not say the atmosphere was bad just not for me.

Food was good, I would not say I would return regularly but a good restaurant if you are out and want to try something new or prefer their style.“

“This is the best hartz chicken I’ve ever been to!! There are several in the Houston area and this one was great. I used to live in he area in my younger years and wish this hartz was around back then. My order was simple corn on the cob and a roll. The roll was so warm and soft and the corn hot, sweet and juicy! The ladies that helped me were super sweet! I will definitely be back!“

“Louisiana Fried Chicken & Seafood has the best tasting halal fried chicken and seafood in town. Baig Mohammed always helps us with our huge catering orders especially during Ramadan. He’s our go-to person when ordering iftar dinner for the masjid that we go to. He knows exactly how much we should order for that night and what everyone prefers in regards to the type of items we should order. We had ample amount of food to give to the members of masjid that came to break their fast last night. I don’t have that many pics but I did capture one pic with my niece’s toddler son holding a piece of a drumstick and enjoying every bite of it. He wasn’t letting go of it either. Thank you so much for always helping us with our catering needs every year. In Sha Allah, we will do it again next Ramadan. Btw, their fried fish and the shrimp & chicken jambalaya are really good too. Forgot that we always get it from the Richmond location on FM 1464.“
