“Honestly I didnt stay long I had really been looking for a good dark bar to just sit and soak in the atmosphere. My dad was a bouncer at these type bars so this bar gave me so much so much nostalgia. The smell of cigarettes, the dark room regulars just chit chatting. They had a jukebox, pool and darts. It really gives you that old fashion bar feeling I've been missing. I had a few jack and cokes and the bartender was very quick and friendly. I didnt catch her name but she had long blonde hair in a ponytail. I did go in as soon as they opened so im sure it wouldn't be as quiet and calm in the evening but it was just what I needed to feel like I was just chilling and having a drink with my dad.“

“Want me to let you in on a little secret?! This place is amazing!! It’s a bar and they have food. Not to be confused with bar food. This is food food!! Their cook is on point! Their food is so friggan good!! The staff is awesome too!! I have no idea what their drink specials are because I don’t drink, we get the food!! Their chicken fried steak& chicken dinners are so good! My husband loves their BLT which comes on Texas toast. I love their chicken Philly! Their tator tots are delicious and so is their home made mashed potatoes! We get our food to go but they seem to have ample seating.“

“Really enjoyed my visit to The Brass Tap in Rockwall! We were there for a networking event. The customer service was great—everyone was super friendly, welcoming, and very attentive the entire time. The drinks were good and came out quickly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and fun. There are plenty of TVs all around, so it’s an awesome spot to catch a game or hang out with friends.

I didn’t get a chance to try the food this time, which is the only reason I’m giving 4 stars, but everything I saw coming out of the kitchen looked really good from where I was sitting. I’ll definitely be back soon to try the food because it looked worth it!w“
