“Honestly I didnt stay long I had really been looking for a good dark bar to just sit and soak in the atmosphere. My dad was a bouncer at these type bars so this bar gave me so much so much nostalgia. The smell of cigarettes, the dark room regulars just chit chatting. They had a jukebox, pool and darts. It really gives you that old fashion bar feeling I've been missing. I had a few jack and cokes and the bartender was very quick and friendly. I didnt catch her name but she had long blonde hair in a ponytail. I did go in as soon as they opened so im sure it wouldn't be as quiet and calm in the evening but it was just what I needed to feel like I was just chilling and having a drink with my dad.“

“Paradise Breeze Hookah Lounge is awesome! The atmosphere is relaxing and stylish, the music sets the perfect vibe, and the staff is super friendly and attentive. “Want me to let you in on a little secret?! This place is amazing!! It’s a bar and they have food. Not to be confused with bar food. This is food food!! Their cook is on point! Their food is so friggan good!! The staff is awesome too!! I have no idea what their drink specials are because I don’t drink, we get the food!! Their chicken fried steak& chicken dinners are so good! My husband loves their BLT which comes on Texas toast. I love their chicken Philly! Their tator tots are delicious and so is their home made mashed potatoes! We get our food to go but they seem to have ample seating.“

“Chase place was my favorite bar. I usually invite a group of my American Legion friends to meet there. We meet about 2+ times a month. Usually myself and around 5-6 friends. Plus other friends randomly. Monday this one waitress, Nancy, never even asked what I wanted or said a word to me. My friends all noticed this. Therefore, I will not invite my people to be there when Nancy is working. What a shame.“

“Outstanding from start to finish. Service was warm and accommodating. Food was outstanding. We had the sampler, stir fried goat, meat pie, and suya were fantastic. Only thing on the sampler we weren’t crazy about was the fish roll. They offered us puff puff. Light, delicious and fresh from the fryer. Mains were majestic stew and Jollof rice with beef tips. All were rich, flavorful, and wonderfully spicy. It was an outstanding meal and we will absolutely be back.“

The seabass was cooked perfectly — flavorful, tender, and one of the best I’ve had. My wife ordered the steak, and it was incredibly tender and cooked exactly right. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food. The service was flawless from start to finish. The manager, Will, did an outstanding job ensuring everything ran smoothly and that we had a great experience. His attention to detail and professionalism really stood out. “Stopped into Brass Tap for a quick lunch and ended up pleasantly surprised. The Chicken Caesar Salad was legit, not one of those sad, thrown together afterthoughts, but actually fresh, well balanced, and worth ordering again. Big win there.

Also have to give them credit for having some non alcoholic options on the menu. That is awesome to see and honestly still way too rare. I would love to see them lean into that even more, especially with something on tap. Nothing against anyone enjoying a drink, but sober is cool too, and it is nice when a place makes that feel normal instead of an afterthought.

Service hit the sweet spot. Friendly, attentive, but not hovering over the table every two minutes asking if I am still chewing okay. Just enough presence to make you feel taken care of without feeling like you are being supervised. The bartenders deserve a shoutout too, they know what they are doing and keep things moving without missing a beat.

What really stood out though, I came back about a week later to see if it was just a one off good experience, and nope, same deal. Different waitress, same easygoing service, kitchen still on point, bartenders still crushing it. That kind of consistency is harder to find than it should be.

Overall, solid spot for lunch, solid vibe, and a place that clearly has its act together. If they expand those N/A options, especially on tap, I might start showing up a little more often than I planned… which my wallet may or may not appreciate.“

We tried the meat lovers pizza this time, and man, it hit the spot. It was seriously good. The cocktail waitresses are always attentive and make sure you have everything you need, and the bartenders knock it out of the park every time.

Also, the cheese fries are absolutely my comfort food here. Always a solid spot with great service, good drinks, and food that keeps me coming back.“

“first off.....we have been going next door to this place for years for my kids....so today my 12 yr old twins said can we have seafood , so we went here a gem hidden next to pizza place...The food was phenomenal, my kids had dungeons crab shrimp corn potato in garlic butter, I had shrimp sausage corn potato.....with the Cajun full mix medium spicy and it was superb, I have eaten at the other boil type restaurants and this one was the best , service , taste, super clean place , even bathrooms were spotless.. this place is my new fave and a hidden gem....I give 5 stars and A++ for the cleanest place in DFW, GARLAND....HIGHLY RECCOMEND“

We can’t ever go wrong with Fish and Tails, our whole family loves it and we constantly stay ordering delivery or pickup. The only thing one of the cashiers the short hispanic guy, he needs to pay attention when taking an order he charge me over 42.00 dollars for a full pound of crab legs , I order half pound, a side of potatoes and corn and an order of fries when I saw the total he immediately point at me YOU ORDER A POUND and I told him NO, I said 1/2 pound. He Got upset he redo my order and told me the $$ overcharged was been credited back to my account its Tuesday and I do not see a credit for the 16.24 off the 42.06 he originally charge me....“
