“I had to write a review based on the behind the scenes customer service I saw two nights ago. There was someone oblivious in the mobile order line who took long enough to order that management inside the restaurant recognized them and started looking out the door. I was pissed originally as this person who needs to learn social awareness held everyone up 5-10 minutes, but as I left I was really taken back by the dedication of the management team who showed pride in keeping standards high which people don’t see or recognize as it wasn’t a direct customer service. I was really surprised that they came out and confronted the driver when the driver drove around in effort to educate them what mobile order line means. They definitely earned a lifelong customer and I hope they see this because it was noticed and very much appreciated!“

“I found this restaurant by mistake.I went to go do some shopping at the mall and stumbled across it. I was impressed about how clean the restaurant was the service was great. Their buffet can includes anything.You can think of as far as chinese food goes, they have a great selection of salads.They even had roast beef and ribs on the buffet, they also have a small sushi bar and a mogolian barbecue.“

The service here is amazing! And the coffee is delicious truly some of the BEST COFFEE I’ve ever had! I recommend to everyone I know! I get the Biscoff Latte! 😋 Lots of seating, love coming with Family & is Kid Friendly, My ASD Son loves it here they always are so nice and make him his own chocolate milk “coffee” — he asks to come back all the time! Always a great experience and the pastries are also so yummy! 🫶🏼 ☕️ 🥐 (ate the pastries before could get a pic 😋)“

“Very clean and quaint little place. I went on a slow Friday evening and got the LA Galbi, which was delicious, i love how the onions carmelize in the hot skillet it’s served in. Not a lot of beverage options but i really came for the food and it was everything i was looking for. Will be back!“

“Basil had a very nice ambiance and super sweet staff. Very large menu! Could not decide on what to get, so just tried a Rock Wall roll and a Philadelphia roll. Both were delicious. The server also recommended the New Year roll and her personal favorite the Ninja roll. Will be back to try those.“

“I have always been a fan of Bankhead, but have not been in a while. My children and I went yesterday for Mother’s Day and our ticket was accidentally lost. The staff went above and beyond to make it up to us with some delicious appetizers while they finished up our orders. Mistakes happen, but we definitely will be visiting again soon.“

“Very homestyle cafe. Food was just like grandma used to make. Service was a little slow, but not terrible. Prices were decent, too. The place was crowded, but not packed...obviously 'the place' for the locals. Would definitely go back, if I'm ever in the area again.“

“it's a small diner but was very comfortable. our waitress was very helpful and nice, attentive without being a bother breakfast was delicious. my husband had a veggie omelette packed full of yummy things. I had a fried pork chop and eggs. we enjoyed every bite it was well worth it. we found this just by looking online. glad we went there. if we ever come back this way we would go again.“

“Awesome addition to downtown Rowlett. excellent pastries (huge variety) and breads. Fabulous coffee with house made syrups. They offer some unique coffee creations. I've enjoyed the Hot Turkish Coffee with cardamom syrup, the Mexican coffee with cinnamon and the iced horchata coffee. Great local vibe. Limited indoor seating but plentiful outdoor seating so I look forward to enjoying more coffee al fresco now that spring is here. Don't leave without a loaf of their sourdough bread. I ate a whole loaf by myself in a week. So delicious!“

Dog and kid friendly, fun nightly events to get the locals together. Brix BBQ food truck is awesome. Staff is always super nice, can’t say enough about this place!“

“Lakewood Brewing is fabulous! The service was great, the beers were great, and the food was spot on! We had been in contact with the Jennifer, the PR Rep, to see what beers were on tap. She was great and had some stuff set aside for our visit. The tap room staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond with service.
The tap room wasn't noisy, which was nice. They also have a biergartenfor and outdoor option. There are plenty of beers offered, seasonals, exclusive, etc. they also have wine and ciders. The menu isn't overly large, but it offers plenty. The fig and prosciutto flatbread is freaking great.
I'm so glag we stopped in. We love the Temptress, but there are some other great beers available: the double bock was something I knew I would like but was 100% surprised at how much I liked it. All I can say is swing by, grab a glass of something, and let Lakewood help you toast your good life!“
