“Delicious food, cool atmosphere!“
“… very political as you step on the porch to enter (see picture). Pulled pork was juicy and tender (when I couldn’t make up my mind, owner added a salmon patty with creamed peas just for me), pork ribs were fall off the bone, red neck nachos, butter beans, cabbage … the menu seems to have no end!“

“Went there last night, awesome service, amazing food, the stuffed mushrooms were off the chart, along with our entrees! Staff made you feel like you were in Italy. Best Italian I have ever eaten. Hopefully we can get back out that way again soon!! Might have to have dessert the next time!!“

“I can't believe I have missed this spot. I only visited because a friend invited me to lunch. It is so delicious and I highly recommend. I am vegan and the Chef/Owner recommended vegan options for me. The atmosphere was so calm and relaxing with exceptional Asian food that was so fresh.“

“Main Street Cafe has a menu packed with good choices. The burger and fries are very tasty and delicious. The chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken will be the best you have ever eaten. The Salmon salad oh my what a treat. The pimento cheese sandwich with jalapeños and pecans will make you want to return for a second round. I do not normally eat pork chops. Their pork chops are tender and full of flavor. There are many other options. These are my favorites. Give them a try.“

“The Oar House in Rockwall was an amazing Valentine’s dinner experience. Everything from the food to the service was absolutely top-notch. The seabass was cooked perfectly — flavorful, tender, and one of the best I’ve had. My wife ordered the steak, and it was incredibly tender and cooked exactly right. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food. The service was flawless from start to finish. The manager, Will, did an outstanding job ensuring everything ran smoothly and that we had a great experience. His attention to detail and professionalism really stood out. This was a memorable evening, and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend The Oar House to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Rockwall.“

“Zuko’s Pizza was recommended to us and did not disappoint! From the warm greeting at the door to the attentive service, we felt welcome right away. They only take cash, Zelle, or Cash App—not a problem these days. I had the Chicken Murphy—flavorful sauce, perfectly cooked mushrooms, just the right kick—absolute chef’s kiss! My husband had spaghetti with marinara and Italian sausage, with generous portions and a homemade-tasting sauce. Small, clean seating area and friendly staff all the way till we finished eating.Can’t wait to come back for the pizza!“

“All I can say is that I had an amazing experience, especially for my first time With my wife eating at a Korean barbecue and this was by far the best customer service I’ve been at and definitely one of the best food I’ve had!
Joey is wonderful and he deserves a raise for just being AMAZING!

Their crunchy tacos were a highlight when we visited them and they have one of the biggest menus among vegan restaurants in the metroplex while still staying within the same food category. That means you will have plenty of options when it comes to vegan mexican themed food!“

“I have always been a fan of Bankhead, but have not been in a while. My children and I went yesterday for Mother’s Day and our ticket was accidentally lost. The staff went above and beyond to make it up to us with some delicious appetizers while they finished up our orders. Mistakes happen, but we definitely will be visiting again soon.“

“If you’re looking for incredible sushi, Basil Cafe is a must-visit. The sushi here is absolutely delicious—fresh, beautifully prepared, and consistently high quality every time we go.
The service always goes above and beyond. On our very first visit, our waitress took the time to walk us through the menu and point out some fan favorites, which made it so much easier to decide what to order. That level of attentiveness really set the tone for a great experience, and the staff has been just as welcoming on every visit since.
The ambience is top notch—relaxing, comfortable, and perfect for a casual dinner or a nice night out. The restaurant is also exceptionally clean, which is exactly what you want when dining somewhere that serves food.
Between the fresh ingredients, great presentation, generous portions, and outstanding service, Basil Cafe has quickly become one of our favorite sushi spots. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re craving great sushi and a wonderful dining experience. 🍣“

“Great beer and fantastic fries. Fries were super crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside.
The beer menu is very good and has a nice variety for everyone.
Everyone really enjoyed the queso fondito!
The taco entrees were good but a bit pricey.
The quail taco was good and unique. I get that quail can be expensive for the amount of food you get.
I personally wasn’t a fan of the short rib/brussel sprout taco.
My wife’s taco bowl left something to be desired as far as portion and flavor. It was not bad, just not a $15+ plate of food.
We will be back for beer and apps!“

“Finally got to try Cheesesteak House for lunch today and it was absolutely amazing! Having grown up just outside of Philly, I’ve been in Texas since I was 12 years old, I’ve been on the quest to find the best Philly Cheesesteak in Texas, and I think Cheesesteak House is quite possibly the best! I will definitely be back again, and hope to bring some of my family that still lives in the Philadelphia, PA area!“
