“We had intended to visit this restaurant for a long time and I am so glad we finally did! the food was fresh, homemade and delicious. I had the roast beef special and it was fork tender and flavorful. My husband had one of their namesake potatoes and it definitely did not disappoint; perfectly baked and loaded with goodness. To finish off, we had homemade peach cobbler muffins that made me think I'd died and gone to heaven! We washed it down with sweet tea that was a special family recipe and really hit the spot. On top of that, the owner was so nice and attentive, and just made the whole experience the perfect lunch date. You should absolutely go visit and support this local Highland Lakes family business!“

“One of the best steaks I’ve ever had at a restaurant! Wonderful atmosphere. We made reservations for six and went on a Friday night. We were seated promptly, but they are still getting their flow figured out, so you may have to wait a bit for food and drinks on a busy night. The manager was great! Our kids were welcomed there, but they didn’t have many kid options. They enjoyed their lemonade and shared the cheeseburger. We sat in a booth inside, but there’s outdoor seating that overlooks a wonderful yard space. Happy to have a place like this in Kingsland. We will be back!“
