“My date & I aren’t super familiar w/ Korean food but our server was great at answering all our questions & explaining everything. I ended up ordering the chicken katsu dish & man that was A LOT of chicken! Like 3 small cutlets breaded & chopped up. My date ordered the teriyaki chicken which was like either right above or below on the menu and it was not as much meat. My only “complaint” would be the busser seemed to have grievances w/ the owner & we could easily overhear & sense the tension & frustration between those two from our table a few feet away. That felt awkward. The busser was apparently upset that the owner regularly stays open later than advertised for customers who I guess don’t make it worth it. We were like the only table in there at that time & idk like could y’all take that into the kitchen rather than just outside where we hear it all. Also our server said all they had were like SMALL to-go boxes yet walked by w/ slightly bigger ones for a to-go order… why weren’t we allowed to get that size for our food yet a door dash order who doesn’t tip the restaurant directly(like a dine in table does) would? Seemed odd. We want to go back & try the korean bbq for real but we didn’t realize we have to order 2 meats & how much food it’d be so we want to come back to do that when we plan for all that food & can eat on it all weekend but we went on a Sunday when we were about to go back to work in different directions & didn’t want to deal w/ all that food to-go.”

“Really good food. First time coming here we usually go to apple bees but we went here instead of wow the food was ten times better. My salmon was cooked to perfection and Mac and cheese was fantastic. Waitress was really nice and also gave us refills when we didn’t even ask for them like we have to do at some places. also came and checked on us often which was what a waitress should do! Food came out fast too! We waited probably 15 mins and our food was out! Really good place to go.”

“A hidden gem on a serene country farm! This is such a quaint and wonderful place tucked away on a beautiful farm. The owners and staff are welcoming, the wines are fantastic and the vibe is casual and relaxed. They offer flights for wine tasting, glasses or bottles. I suggest trying a flight, enjoying a glass of your favorite and taking a bottle home with you to share (or not). Bonus points for sweet goats roaming outside and the friendly dogs looking for belly rubs. I really can’t say enough about this place - truly unique. “It's no wonder the parking lot is always packed when I drive by. My folks and I didn't have to wait at all for a table. The wait staff were very friendly, attentive, and quiet knowledgeable regarding the menu. The dishes came out pretty quick, and the food was awesome. With how good the food is, along with the excellent service, the prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is great. I would highly recommend coming here if anyone is in the Temple, TX area. As a heads-up, they do not take reservations, so plan accordingly.”

“We went tonight for my son’s birthday and the cook/entertainer was the WORST. He barely spoke and when he did it was mumbled. He lit an onion stack on fire but other than that there was zero show. The only “show” was him cooking the food. We looked around at other tables and it was 💯 better than our experience. He never acknowledged my son’s birthday or made any extra effort whatsoever. It was such a disappointing experience. I will say that our server was AMAZING. He was super sweet and took great care of our table. The food was delicious and the portions were more than enough. If this was a typical restaurant it would have been a good night but the expectation of something extra definitely wasn’t met.”

“I’ve used Sweet & Savory Seasons for two major events. Our wedding anniversary party, and our nieces quinceñera. Both times the service was outstanding! Communication is top notch. The owner is keen on detail and makes it a point to make sure you are getting exactly what you want. The quince required delivery and the bakery was punctual and professional! The actual product is DELICIOUS. That’s not to mention that I also drop by the actual store front to grab my family treats here and there, those are always delicious as well!!! I’ve nothing but amazing experiences every single time I’ve interacted with this bakery and I HIGHLY recommend them for any special occasion needs ♥️. Thank you for the amazing memories!”

Their pink drink puts starbucks to shame! Peggy's pink drink is the best by far! The smoothies and frozen coffees are good too, they don't skimp on the ingredients or flavor like chain coffee shops do either! I highly recommend them!”

“Came to O’Briens today after seeing ads on Facebook of their “SHEPHERDS PIE”. First and foremost the bartender Shelby is an amazing bartender/server & very knowledgeable of everything o’Briens related. The atmosphere is very relaxed and right now is the Christmas season so it was very season festive. Now the food…. Let me tell you THE FOOD IS AMAZEBALLS!!! Shepherd pie or really they told me it’s actually called Cottage pie is perfect for the upcoming cold months ahead with ground beef and potatoes flavored to the nines. The pizza was something I did not expect to be as good as it was in an Irish pub but here we are and my tastebuds were just taken on a vacation. Definitely stop by O’Briens for some really good food. I’m not a drinker but have beer and drinks to last a lifetime.”

“Had my son’s 11th birthday party here. Matthew was super helpful with prepping us for the party on what to expect and what options we had. Him and his team were super helpful before, during, and after the party. They were auper patient with all of the kiddos running around, keeping popcorn coming and cleaning up the messes that kids inevitably made throughout the party. The venue itself was perfect for us since we had a toddler and 2 children with special needs in attendance. It’s basically one big room so it was easy to keep up with where everyone was. There were so many game options, from pong (which the grandparents especially loved), patio games, mortal kombat, Mario kart, the OG duck hunt game, the list goes on. I’m not sure who had more fun, the kids or the adults! The crew there did a great job keeping up with our drink and food orders throughout the party. Then afterwards were helpful with rounding up the kids and getting the place cleaned up. I see a 12th birthday party at this location in our future!”

Best wine I've enjoyed in a long time. I enjoyed sampling several wines they offered but have for sure found my favorite!! The atmosphere was outstanding!! “My guy and I stumbled across this place after hanging out at the Railroad Museum. Fell in love instantly! We sat at the bar. The layout was comfortable, the ordering system (computer) was unique to us but I loved the way we could choose, back up and go forward in all the areas. (Also, we didn't need our cheaters!) The food was delicious! My mushroom burger made me swoon! The grilled corn was out of this world and I am going to try later today to see if I can even come close! The fried green tomatoes were a hit and my guy really liked the polish sausage(?) with the chili topping. The beer was great! We settled on the IPA with the word grackle in it - sorry can't remember it exactly. We were so impressed (we were visiting from New England) that we went back the next day to watch the Patriots game and were surrounded by football fans that were fun to talk with and we stayed for a Dallas game afterwards. LOVED EVERY MINUTE WE WERE THERE! The bartender (s) were fun and easy to talk to. We tipped them well!”

“I recently ate at MOD Pizza and really enjoyed the experience. The whole build-your-own pizza setup makes it easy to get exactly what you want without feeling rushed.

The ingredients tasted fresh, and I liked having plenty of topping options to choose from. My pizza came out hot, flavorful, and cooked just right. It’s a great spot if you want something quick but still customized to your taste.

The staff was friendly and kept the line moving, even when it was busy. Overall, it’s a fun, laid-back place for a casual meal that doesn’t feel like typical fast food.”

The chicken salad was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. A wonderful first impression! I got 2 scoops the fruity Fran and the kicking Kaylynn with a side of fresh fruit. If I had to rate the scoops I will say the fruity Fran is a 4.3 for me. It is not bad in flavor it’s just way too sweet for me. That being said the kicking Kaylynn is 10/10, my newest fixation and I will definitely be back for it multiple times a week! The fruit also was delicious. I seriously have no complaints and pray they open one up in Harker heights! 💕 I definitely recommend! It’s so delicious.”

“I visit this location nearly every morning to get my Diet Dr. Pepper! They have the best around. Every day, Deneane is there it makes my day! She is kind, pleasant, and makes me feel so special! I've seen her pick up trash outside in the parking lot, take orders in the rain, train employees in the window, and much more. I'm not sure who her manager is, but they should know she is an asset! The employees did greet me when I entered, but for whatever reason, it took over 17 minutes to get my Frappuccino. 11 more minutes than the app said it should take. The drive thru was busy per the usual, but there were only a couple of us inside so no clue what took so long.

I always tip after I receive my product depending on the service, so maybe they saw there wasn’t an initial tip and said screw this guy? 🤷‍♂️

I will probably try a different place next time.”
