“GREAT BBQ! And very nice people! Ruben and crew catered our 70th birthday party, at our home. The BBQ meal was delicious. His trailer was parked curbside and our guests walked right up and ordered their BBQ plate.Easy. And his trailer was a cute novelty and added fun to our party! Ruben was easy to work with and accommodated our special requests. The only problem was we didn't have enough leftovers! ?Highly recommend. 5 ? 's for sure. We will call you again, Ruben!“

“Blake is such a lovely employee to interact with. Not everyone here has the best customer service, but Blake is always welcoming and takes his time to make sure the customer is satisfied. Customer service isn’t what it used to be but this young man does a stellar job!“

“I ordered the center of the Cinnabon roll and extra icing. It was very good, and I could feel the calories soak into my body lol! The only thing that was unpleasant was the drive-thru pavement; it was very uneven. I could see the prep area from the drive-thru window, and it looked messy and unkempt with trash on the floor. Friendly staff.“

“There are countless articles boasting about the best places to eat kolaches in Texas, but if they fail to mention Kolache Kitchen in Temple, they haven’t seen anything yet. This little spot, run by Carol White—who learned the craft from her Czech grandmother—is an absolute Texas Czech treasure.
The moment you walk in, you’re transported to a simpler time, like when your grandpa would head to the local coffee shop to gossip with friends. It’s small, cozy, and wonderfully unmodernized. It doesn’t need to be—it’s authentic, just as it is.
My personal favorites are the strawberry cream cheese and apricot kolaches. In fact, I loved them so much that I served them at my wedding (because let’s be honest, when you’re Czech, a kolache tower is a must!). The cinnamon rolls are equally heavenly, with just the right balance of cinnamon, sugar, and softness.
If you’re in the mood for something savory, the sausage kolaches are a must-try. And don’t leave without grabbing a few dozen day-old kolaches to go—freeze them or eat on the way home. :)“
