“We hosted our rehearsal dinner at 17th South, and they went above and beyond! From the very beginning, the team was incredibly thoughtful and detail-oriented, they even visited our wedding website and surprised us by using our custom wedding logo on the menus. They also replicated our exact signature drink menu and were not only on board, but excited when I asked if I/we could decorate the space to match our Roaring 20s theme. Upon being seated, they even turned on a 20s Big Band playlist! They remembered details!

Everything looked stunning, the service was seamless, and our guests were so impressed. On top of that, the event minimum was extremely affordable for the level of service and quality we received. I can’t recommend 17th South enough for anyone looking to host a special event they made our night absolutely unforgettable! Also the portion sizes were OUT OF THIS WORLD. 10/10 experience. “My daughter and son along with their spouses have been here several times. Today they finally got their mama (aka Memaw) to join them. My experience was A+!! The ladies and staff were awesome!! Best wine I've enjoyed in a long time. I enjoyed sampling several wines they offered but have for sure found my favorite!! The atmosphere was outstanding!! “My wife and I enjoyed hanging out at the bar on a Saturday night while checking out downtown Temple nightlife. It’s a great bar with a decent assortment of beers on tap. We were especially happy to find Smithwick’s on tap. The bartenders - Shelby and Skyla (I apologize if I misspelled!) were great. They gave us lots of info on the bar and Temple in general. The live entertainment that night - James Stone was also very good!“

“BJ’s is my favorite restaurant to eat in Temple! It’s easy to get seated, watch your favorite sporting event on TV, and the food is great with service that is fast and accommodating. Plus, the menu selections are perfect from appetizers to entrees to deserts. I’m not big on beverages, but they’ve got that mastered as well!“

“My husband and I came to Pizza Wings and Things on a day date. We had never been there before. Our waitress Kathryn was attentive and informative when it came to the menu. When we were getting ready to close out Richard the manager approached the table gifted us a complimentary bottle of their homemade ranch and invited us back with one of their promotional cards. We were excited to learn they're opening a secondary venue closer to the house. We will definitely be back.“

“My guy and I stumbled across this place after hanging out at the Railroad Museum. Fell in love instantly! We sat at the bar. The layout was comfortable, the ordering system (computer) was unique to us but I loved the way we could choose, back up and go forward in all the areas. (Also, we didn't need our cheaters!) The food was delicious! My mushroom burger made me swoon! The grilled corn was out of this world and I am going to try later today to see if I can even come close! The fried green tomatoes were a hit and my guy really liked the polish sausage(?) with the chili topping. The beer was great! We settled on the IPA with the word grackle in it - sorry can't remember it exactly. We were so impressed (we were visiting from New England) that we went back the next day to watch the Patriots game and were surrounded by football fans that were fun to talk with and we stayed for a Dallas game afterwards. LOVED EVERY MINUTE WE WERE THERE! The bartender (s) were fun and easy to talk to. We tipped them well!“

“We ordered to go from here. Everything was very well done and freshly made. They had sesame balls, which are my favorite thing. This place has one of the better General Tso's chicken we have had. The spring rolls were a little on the tough side. We usually make ours from scratch. We also did the squid/calamari dinner, that was very good as well. Love the egg drop soup even if it was a bit heavy on the eggs. The only thing I would not get again is the cream cheese won tons; they were nothing special. For a first time this was a good choice. Everyone was friendly and our order was fresh and hot.“

“Food was good, better than some other places. Desserts were sparse and dry, and boxed. The carrot cake i used to get at golden corrall everywhere is NOT served here. Unless they changed the recipe everywhere to like a box cake mix with tub frosting. The fried chicken was amazing though, as always, and the yeast rolls were better than the GC near my home. Overall, I left full and happy. I would come back!“
