“We have been getting food from J&M BBQ since they first started business, since before they even became a food truck. We have gotten brisket, sausage, beans, potato salad, pork, desserts and so much more and every time the food is spot on! During the holidays they take the time to even smoke turkeys and hams! We haven't got to try a ham yet, but we got a turkey and it was amazing! Love everything about this establishment! Great flavor, great quality, and amazing customer service. They have so many options, make sure you try them out!“
“The best service I’ve had in my 30 years of living. Colin was our server and definitely made the experience special for my family. Food quality was amazing and fresh. Will be coming back and asking for Colin!Kid-friendliness: Colin joked around with our kids and made them feel special!“
“This food truck was at my daughters unity festival at uplift Luna school. Their food was amazing and the service was awesome. I had the boss and some chips and a drink. The best brisket I’ve had in a long time. Shout out to Zoe Laquita and the other gentleman.“
“I go here at least twice a week. They have the best birria tacos that I have tasted so far. They serve the food very fast and it comes HOT even if you order from door dash or Uber eats. I'm 20 minutes away and my food still arrives warm enough for me to eat without reheating.“
“We went for a Sunday lunch, having been to this restaurant many times before. Service was prompt and efficient. Although this location has an outdoor patio, we elected indoor seating. Ambient noise was low enough to comfortably permit conversation at a normal volume. We tried some dishes we hadn't had before and were pleasantly surprised. The Cocina 'Changa was especially appealing. If you enjoy Mexican food but would like something that deviates a little from the standard fare, you'll enjoy this place.“
“Came for the grand opening. Was a neat atmosphere with decor and general vibe. Their menu is very diverse and appetizers are reasonable. I got the shrimp and chicken hibachi. Sauces were good, nice sized portion, and the chicken flavor was the star. Husband loved the direction of the Japanese grill and said they hit the nail on the head. Would be interested to come back and try a different entree.“
“We love the place. They have live music on weekends. The bar serves good beers on tap and in bottles. They also make awesome cocktails. The staff is very courteous. They have few food trucks in the yard that have decent food options.Very good place to have few drinks and some bites. We love the lights and the ambiance. Must go place and its kids friendly.“
“I gave it 4 stars because it gets quite expensive when you pay by the ounce and have toppings. Would be nice if they offered smaller cups. The flavors are good and the topping selection is amazing! It's a fun little place with a monster theme. There are small tables and stools to sit on and eat there. There is a little indoor playground and a little outdoor patio with a few kid- friendly activities. They sell monster themed items like games, puzzles, stuffed animals. They also host birthday parties!“
“I give Southern Gourmet Kitchen 1million stars. The food is season so good. The fried green tomatoes, the egg roll greens, Shauna had excellent customer service. She took care of us with great hospitality, always checking on us. The whole entire wait staff was so nice smiling interaction was great with the customers. Meatloaf was okay. But baby the shrimp grits, yams greens & OOOO the mac & cheese... FIRE. Last but not least DJ Class Chaz had me dancing in my seat the WHOLE entire time.“
“Writing this review for the server I had (Joshua C.). He went above and beyond making sure we were taken care of. He made sure our drinks were full and if we needed anything else as he walked by every time. He’s a hard worker who wants to stay busy, not just make money. I even talked to the manager(Roger) to let him know how pleased I was with him serving us. If you stop by Mico Cina in The Colony, be sure to ask for Joshua C. and you will not be disappointed.“
