“First time here and definitely coming back!
I had the chicken flautas and the pozole — both were absolutely excellent! The flautas were crispy and flavorful, and the pozole was rich, hearty, and perfectly seasoned. Great portions and authentic taste. Highly recommend Calles de Mexico Taco Shop if you're looking for delicious, authentic Mexican food in The Colony!“

“Friendly staff and yummy food! We tried their trompo tacos (Very flavorful and good quality meat. Most places like to use just the fatty pieces of meat) Barbacoa tacos (had too much of a cumin taste to me and it was pretty greasy) Carnita torta (carnita was a bit on the dry side BUT it was still delicious. I loved how the bread was toasted on both sides. The mayo looked a bit much but it was actually a perfect amount).
Their horchata was pretty good as well! Perfect sweetness!
Will definitely go back to try more.“

“Got tickets online and appears they were fraudulent somehow as it seemed we paid VIP prices but was GA tickets. In the mess of it all the staff especially Ricki made it right and went above and beyond to take care of us in a time of major disappointment. We will be back here without a doubt. “Absolutely DO NOT recommend this place, thier woke staff or the drunken regulars who actually run the place! She is a super sjw Karen! Terrible service and if you don't like it the entitled 20 years olds will chastise you with "fairness" (her words) and attempt to speak down to you LOUDLY once you push back on the nonsense. Then super Karen will break out her phone to start videoing you and put it in yours or anyone at your tables face, follow you around and out to the parking lot until you have to call the police so you can walk to your car in peace! Can't bully or cancel me! If you're woke this is the place for you! Thank you to CPD! They where super cool and VERY professional about it all.“
